Back when I was 14-17 I would join my father in the gym, but his trainer gave me different things to do to just be fit and toned. I do have some equipment at my house and my husband works crazy hours so we can't just go to a gym. Plus, I would like to look semi-decent to be able to even show up at a gym. As for diet, i am not a nutritionist but something you can do is make healthier substitutes for things like cookies. you could just try any diet while you are on this exercise program and will lose around one pound a week.
Avatar f tn If you have that much time for your workouts, try doing cardio AND strength training in each session. Even though you are probably huffing and puffing during your workouts (which is because you are working large muscle groups) what you are doing is "anaerobic". Here's what I am thinking. When you work out a muscle group, say, quads (when you do squats or lunges), you are not supposed to work that muscle group the next day. You should rest at least 1 day in between.

What type or shoes should I get that I can use for every day exercise and jogging. Can I just do everything in running shoes? Also does anyone recommend a certain brand. Nothing to expensive. Avatar f tn ve done tons of research about stomach fat and the best way to burn it is by a balanced diet and by drinking a lot of water and engaging in both cardio and strength training, but is there anything else? i workout usually everyday, at the least 5 times a week, very rarely 4. I eat quite heathy, taking in a lot of fruits and vegetables and trying to watch my serving sizes and portions.
Avatar n tn s pretty hard to produce progesterone to maintain a workout like Like that when the workout itself was upping my cortisol levels to high and subsequently I lost that pregnancy. This time, I'm not doing even a bit of exercise which is super hard for me until 12 weeks - then I'm switching to Pilates and yoga and walking - the hard core exercise can wait till he/she is out then I'm straight back on the hard core exercise!!

Avatar f tn hi there, I workout for almost two years, first was kind of me searching the best exercises and meals for me, and applying the best i can,i focused on body weight training, but this year am into lifting and doing weight trainings, never experienced injuries, exept in the begining of the journey i used to have pelvis pains due to the fats in my hip and butt area (i guess) but it's gone now (i lost 8kg) Anyway am also working now on my endurance, but i noticed this year, and exactly two months
Avatar f tn Keep up training back u will need it. No abdominal work. Squats n stuff r ok at a pool ect takes pressure from abdomine n back. Also if u have tight abs they'll most likely split which ul need to fix early so keep them checked. Mine were gone around 15w cause of how tight all those muscles were.
Avatar n tn If you are doing cheerleading stunts, you should be doing body weight exercises and endurance training (but that will just tone you) and if you want bigger muscles and more strength, then you need to be lifting heavy weights and/or gymnastic rings.
