2126606 tn?1346348724 It’s become a trend in this country for medical professionals to write prescriptions for hydrocodone drugs too quickly, which is creating an epidemic of these drugs being overprescribed to patients who often times don’t need them. This puts patients at risk for developing serious, and even fatal, health issues. Last year at the WAISMANN METHOD®and Domus Retreat, we treated about the same number of patients for addictions to Norco as we did for Heroin, OxyContin or methadone.

551343 tn?1506834118 Then that same year during the winter I started getting hives when i get cold. For a few years I had no new symptoms but I dealt with those 2 the best way I could. In april I was shopping when my legs became heavy and I had an overall strange feeling. I came home and went to bed and basically I have been in bed since then. I was haiving severe muscle pain, twitching in my legs. Those last two have ceased but I still cannot walk very well.
Avatar n tn so went to the local gp and was told one of two things..... 1, diabetes ( getting checked as we speak) 2, damaged nerves from my spine around the lumber... ( mri scan needed through nuero) hope this helps any one...
Avatar n tn if this is the new epidemic.. created by who knows who... then one step is to be fearless.. be a spiritual person who can breathe through the fear, become educated on it, and know you can solve it and get your life back. things are always the worst when we first hear about them.. we are trail blazers for others after us and so we must learn it all first. I am a health care practitioner, wellness coach...

Avatar n tn For the past 2 days I have a very slight heat sensation in my lower left leg (no other problems). Is this some thing I should be concerned about now, or wait for my drs. appt in a few weeks?
Avatar n tn my husband is like that when the weather changes! exactly like that. he can tell 2 days away if the weather is going to dramatically change - and here in texas that happens a lot. trust me, its awful for him. once the weather settles down, he's back to normal. only the barometric change does anything to him. you're not alone in this, and nothing - not any medication on the market, rx or otherwise, puts a dent in his reaction.
Avatar n tn I almost dread sex due to the pain an knowing it will result in new tears. I'm going to see a new GYN in 2 weeks I hope he can tell me something. By the way- I've found that Desitin(for baby diaper rash) works good at coating so air and toilet tissue aren't so painful.
Avatar n tn I have gone to 2 internal med specialists, 2 opthamolagists and 1 dermatolagist. Been treated for blepharitis, seborrheic dermatitis, and allergies. Whenever I start another treatment I have a short period of relief. It always comes back...longest time without symptoms 10 days. Like eveyone else, I have thrown all makeup, lotions, and soaps away. Washed sheets, pillow cases, and put pillow in the dryer. This has become debilitating and I am becoming depressed.
Avatar f tn my general dentist, the periodontist (who placed the implant), primary care doc, 2 nurse practitioners, 2 neurologists, 2 oral surgeons, allergist, or rheumatologist would tell me about this testing. The allergist did say he was not "impressed" with the reliability of lymphocyte transformation testing. I am not impressed with spending so much time and money and still feeling ill with no answers.
Avatar n tn My 6 year old son has been getting hives now everyday for about 2 months. He sounds a lot like your condition. When he plays really rough he gets hives. When he gets hot in school he gets hives. I am so worried that he has some sort of a medical condition that we don't know of that is causing these hives. Lately his eyes look sickly to me. I know I worry about him alot but after all he is my baby. I wish I had some answers.
Avatar n tn I had another outbreak of rash that was so itchy and spread over 30% of my body. I was scratching my skin raw. It lasted for 2 1/2 mos. My pcp prescribed a medrol dose pack of prednisone and a prescription strength cortisone cream, neither of which helped. I have been to an allergist who is world reknown. He wanted to rule out an auoimmune disease or anything major, which was done through lots of bloodwork. I was averaging 3 hrs sleep per night. I have to work!
Avatar n tn Hold it!!! not watch porn! Slowly get more comfy with my new g/f (2 months and counting) and the sexual act instead of the virtual sexual act. I took a shower with her the other day, shaved her ***** cause she was too bushy and sucked it. it was a great feeling!!! I will march on to become the great lover that I was always meant to be. I will make a list of all chicks on my Facebook that I been dying to nail, and work on it slowly by slowly. (if im not with this girl anymore heheh).
Avatar m tn I posted this info before, but it was a reply to someone else's similar post... I am a 23 year old healthy male. I recently had a full physical and the results were that I am in above average health. I have no diseases, do not use drugs, but drink on occasion. Anyways, just started noticing these strange symptoms, within the past few weeks. Nothing "brought it on" so to speak that I can tell of.
Avatar n tn I have to stop every once in a while just to yawn (frustrating) to stop from getting dizzy. It's also noticeable as I am trying to go to sleep and/or when I've had a glass or 2 of wine. I was "diagnosed" with exercise-induced asthma 9-10 years ago, but I think this was a mis-diagnosis as the inhalers never work (I've tried all sorts) and they usually end up making me feel worse.
Avatar n tn 1) I had been taking 2 days of aspirin/acetophenamin for headache AND 2) I had traveled to a location with a higher elevation than home by 4,100 ft. Both of these can cause a spontaneous bleed of small capillaries in extremities.
Avatar n tn Hi. I dont know if 2 a day is addictive but I told my doctors (just changed to new doctor) that I was taking 6 a day. (I lied at this time as I was doing between 12 and 16) however neither doctor had a problem with 6 a day. I am back down to 6 a day now, 3 morning and 3 late afternoon and I can tell you I cant wait to take them. What has helped me cut down from 16 to 6 is I pushed myself to do light physical activity every day and sometimes twice a day.
