Avatar f tn Congrats mine is on the 19th but I'm thinking about getting the 4d in HD live. But nobody I know has done the HD just the normal 4d so hopefully it goes well because its suppose to he better.
Avatar m tn I did some research and some people said its an early warning sign of a migraine (Migraines do run in my family, however I have no gotten a migraine since that camera flash effect, which was roughly 7 hours ago now) Another possibility is retinal detachment, however I tend to always exaggerate my self-diagnosis. Any help would be great and much appreciated, thanks!
Avatar f tn If I am driving I can look into the blue sky and see the flashing lights but when I focus on the road again they disappear. I also have permanent floaters in my vision. I also have Flickering lights in my vision sometimes - like someone has turned a light on and off so quickly its hardly noticeable. I thought maybe it was the florescent lights at work but it has happened in other places as well. Other then the vision disturbances I feel fine!
Avatar f tn Then back to shimmery lights over the past weeks. However, these past few days, the lights only appear in my right eye, in the dark, when moving it to the extreme right. It's like a rectangular blobby kind of shape, it's white and pulsates/flickers. It disappears/diminishes if i continue looking to the right, then if i stop, and look to the right again, it appears again. I have had my eyes checked thoroughly. my retinas appear fine. I've had no other symptoms e.g.
Avatar m tn But as soon as I am in a poorly lit place, I have pretty awful dysphotopsias in the Crystalens eye if there are lights around. Living in LA, there are always lights everywhere. If I walk or drive at night and close the other eye, my vision in the Crystalens eye varies from excellent to scary as I pass through different levels of light. In the wrong light, the scattered dysphotopsias muddy most of my visual field.
Avatar m tn Hello, about 3 months ago i developed a camera flash spot in the central vision of my right eye. It is about the size of a dime if held 6-8 inches in front of my eye. It came on sudden, it lasted about a month, then it went away for about 2 weeks. Unfortunatly it came back and has been there for about 6 weeks.
Avatar n tn You are describing dysphotospsia. use the search feature to read about it. Get a second opinion before you make up your mind.
Avatar f tn All I can think of is normal sonograms aren't HD or that detailed, maybe the baby moved slightly making them appear larger than they are?
Avatar m tn s pretty much non existent in the daylight, so it sounds like a low light issue (similar to how a video camera has grainy images when in shot low light). If the vitreous is constantly tugging on and stimulating the retina, I suppose the grainy vision problem can occur when there's no/low light hitting the retina???
Avatar f tn I understand ReStor IOLs work best when implanted in both eyes and my experience to date leads me to believe that my daytime results would be excellent, but right now I have less glare and no halos in my non-operated dominant eye and my vision in that eye is still correctable to 20/20 with glasses. despite the cataract. Doctor says he would use same lens in the second eye (it's a quarter of a diopter off, whatever that means, and they used the "stronger" lens).

This doesn't bother my Vision, I can see clearly, if I turn on the lights this annoyance stops. This "lightshow" does not happens all the time. This isnt a migraine.
Avatar f tn I was walking in the mall today, it was all fine, until I looked into the photography shop, I saw 1 camera flash way inside the store, and 2 camera flash outside the room. I didn't see anyone taking pictures at that time. Those flashes are far away, in the store, not close to my eyes. They are straight in my vision field, not at the peripheral field. After that, I haven't experienced that camera flash anymore.
Avatar f tn Hello, about 2 weeks now i have had varying degrees of flashing lights in my vision. At first they were in both eyes and zig zaggy or shimmery, then they were like white camera flashes, and now, they are seemingly only in my right eye. It's only when i move my eyes to the extreme left/right/up/down, and the flashes i experience atm happen when i look to the right in the dark, and look like small, white flashes.
Avatar f tn but a basic laproscopic surgery involves three or four small holes which instruments and a camera are put in to do the surgery without cutting you open. the placement and amount of the holes depend on what your having done, is it for pcos? or endometriosis? or just exploratory?
Avatar n tn The surgeon that recommended the 5-0 said that the experience in her practise has been that the HD seems to sacrifice distance vision in order to get better near vision. She said that there was a "button" at the center of the HD that is not there on the 5-0. I've searched the internet for an explanation of the changes that were made to the 5-0 to come up with the HD, but have not found anything.
Avatar n tn m going to have surgery in a couple months and the thought of me laying naked on an operating table under florescent lights is horrifying to me! !!
Avatar n tn If the answer is yes the Crystalens HD in my opinion is the best available today. If you go with the ReStor do not get the old model insist on the new ReStor aspheric +3.
Avatar n tn Another thing that i first noticed about two years ago is little tiny lights that seem to swim around in my eyes when i look at bright lights. Both of these symptoms have gotten much worse recently. I also see floaters but have been told that that is normal. I have gone to my eye doctor twice this last year with my concerns but after dilating my eyes and even using a new camera thing on them she said they seem to be perfect.
Avatar f tn My 12 yr old has just been diagnosed with conduct disorder. She's broken our dogs leg jumping on it in anger. She lies and acts out all the time. We are waiting on a counselor to be arranged for to come do home visits. I just can't figure out though why when she gets in trouble she gets worse. If we have a fight and go to the store that's when she'll steal.
Avatar n tn Had a complete hysterectomy and 10c benign tumor was removed from my right ovary April 11. A pathology report came back to my gyno oncol surgeon - "something" was found on my left fallopian tube and my course of treatment may have to be altered. I have a post op appointment with gyno onc on April 23 and will ask in depth questions. I think he mentioned in situ carcenoma but he needed to discuss some more with pathologist.
Avatar f tn I am a chron's patient, but currently in remission. I have had a pain in my upper right side under the rib cage and a constant pain in my right shoulder blade. It began around the middle portion of 2008 to date. Recently, my gastrointerologist ordered a hida scan and it revealed that my gallbladder is operating at 88%. My question, "Is it possible to have gallstones even if the hida scan revealed that my gallbladder is operating at a normal level?
Avatar n tn Hi Joan, I had a CrystaLens implanted 10/8/08 in my right (dominant) eye. I've always been nearsighted. From about a day and a half after surgery my far vision has been great, but I cannot see up close or intermediate. The MD said it would take a few weeks for the close vision to come back. At night the glare is awful. I get diffraction patterns when I look at a light source at a slight angle. Lights are not round anymore.
Avatar n tn It lasts for about 4 seconds and goes away. It looks the sane as the afterimage from a camera flash, but much smaller in size. I have had this for several years and I just had a retinal exam and everything was fine. I did forget to mention this to the ophthalmologist however as it wasn't a primary concern, but I began wondering what it could be.
Avatar m tn I have at least one of these bumps on my penis head, and when I zoom in with HD camera, I see it as well as at least 6 other bumps like it throughput my penis head, also I see small streaks of skin colored raised bumps around tip of my penis. I noticed the one bump 1 week after having full protected vaginal intercourse with a CSW, the bumps don't seem to get bigger but there is no doubt in my mind they are there.
Avatar n tn I got crystalens HD installed in my left eye on Feb 25, 2009. The operation went well and I am healing. My distant vision is not crystal clear since there is slight double vision. My intermediate and near vision is quite bad due to double vision hence I cannot read. My surgeon says that I have slight astigmatism which can be corrected by lasik and will take care of my distant vision. For intermediate and near vision I will have to use glasses.
Avatar n tn I now have distance glasses to wear for night vision. I found that when in an auditorium, even with bright lights my distance glasses enhance the view becasue even in that environment the players on the court are blurry, I can watch the game okay, but the vision is't sharp. Whereas before with monovision, I was able to see better distance and better reading. A fellow golfer friend had Crystalens and she has great distance and night vision but requires reading glasses to read.
Avatar m tn I think that the Crystalens HD was put too far in to the left on my right eye (Horizontal-axis). I am afraid that even if the left eye gets a new IOL, that it will still have the same problem. I'd like to hear your opinion. As far as the Crystalens HD is concerned, I am disappointed with the near vision response considering that its supposed to improved the near vision. My doctor have given me some workbook to exercise my eyes hoping to train them to see near better.
