She stated that it was Geographical tongue, but it has gotten larger since. She prescribed me Clotrimazole lozenges and Triamcinolone paste, which the paste is disgusting. This is really scaring me. I am still worried that it might be something else, i.e. cancer. Any opinions appreciated.
I did see another doctor today, but to be quite honest, he was not very good -- and he completely ignored what I said and instead prescribed me dental paste aka Triamcinolone Acetonide without even telling me exactly what I had that he was prescribing this to me for.

i have a root canal in the month of dec 2010 n had a crown in january 2010 .its been 4 weeks.but from last 2 weeks my tooth starts aching agian i went to the dentist he took my xray n found nothing in it.he said everything is perfect.he has suggested me a mouth wash which he said use it for two weeks n then let me know.my question is dat is it normal to have pain like this ??? n for how long do i still have to tolerate it?
