I am seeing a retina specialist in Orange County, CA for more than two years. My right eye had evidence of an inflammatory papillitis with probably secondary macular edema (that is what the specialist reported). My right eye was given a first subtenon's injection of Triamcinolone two years ago and eye sight came back to 20/20. The effect of injection was gone after one and half year. Again, I was given second injection six months ago.
If you just want something to add some color, you could try self tanning lotions. But, if it were my child I might take him to another dermatologist for a second opinion. If you are still in the military, I know how difficult "on post or Tri-care" providers can be sometimes. Just be persistent and make demands not requests, it is their job to care of you properly!
I am 34 years old. I have problem there in my right eye in difficulty in reading for last 2 years (probably due to constant using the Computer screen for hours) and I have consulted the Ophthalmologists at AIIMS many times and finally last year I sought the opinion of the Consultant. In OCT examination there was small cystic spaces and I was advised 20mg Triamcolone DPST Initially there was relief and I consulted again I was advised to use Acular (Ketorolac Tromethamine ophthalmic solution) . .

The cumulative post double ribs to the armpits.
My husband is suffering for severe burning sensation from jock itch...but not sure if it is really a jock itch since 2 weeks.Red raches has faded but the burning hasn't gone yet.He can't sleep whole day and night.He is using Triamcinolone cream usp,0.5% and also cleaning with ice water and also using moisturiser.He is suffering so much....please help.
Asymptomatic epidermoid cysts do not need to be treated. Intralesional injection with triamcinolone may hasten the resolution of inflammation. Oral antibiotics may occasionally be used.

It was resistent to topical steroids, acular and sub-tenon triamcinolone but responded well to intravitreal triamcinolone. However, my eye pressure went up to 36 and my eyelid started to droop and it took several months before these side effects resolved. Now my CME has recurred. I am seeing a retina specialist who is very conservative in using steroids. I have had 4 intravitreal Avastin injections since April with absolutely no improvement.
It seemed to help until the third year, then I was given Synvisc. I am on my second round of Synvisc along with an injection of Kenalog for bursitis pain in legs. I have just been given my second shot and will receive one more next week. My question is I have been having the butterfly rash since all this started a few years ago., I have been diagnosed as rosacia.
It depends on whether its injected into the eye or outside the eye. Risks include infection, bleeding, damage to eye from needle but biggest risk is sustained high pressure that could require more glaucoma drops or even glaucoma filtering surgery.
The problems could develop from the time of the injections to within a week.
I tried using moisturizers to control this but they only helped a little. I went to my primary-care physician and she prescribed me steroid (triamcinolone acetonide 0.1%) cream and ointment (the cream was to be used once a day in the mornings, and the ointment was to be used once a day in the evenings). She instructed me to use the cream/ointment very sparingly, avoid getting or rubbing it into my eyes, and to only use for 14 days. After 14 days I am supposed to switch to an emollient.
After the 2nd incident, the surgeon lazered the eye. Now he has him scheduled for a avastin injection. I am frightened that it will lead to another detached retinia, or infection, or total lose of vision.
1) Is this a standard procedure for my probllem.?
2) is it the optimnal solution.?
3) Is there any topical solution that might help instead?
4) What are the chances it will cure the situation?
5) Should we get a second opinion? or am I just an over anxious wife.
I was currently using triamcinolone for an existing exema condition in other areas of my body. I called the nurse at my dr's office and she suggested that I use the triamcinolone cream on my face to clear up the reaction. It worked and in the months passing as I tried to get my facial skin back to normal, I used the triamcinolone locally, on occasion if I had another outbreak on my face. I fear that I may have skin atrophy in areas of my face now.
I had a kenalog injection in my right eye on 11/2/10 and now I am blind in that eye.I have seen my retina specialist two times since then and was told the kenalog created the problem and should clear up. Now I am taking prednisolone drops evert two hours. Has anyone else ever experianced this and how long does it take for the kenalog to dissolve. My vision in that eye was around 20/40 and it was believed that the kenalog could get my vision closer to 20/20.
Visual diagnosis 3 years ago as plaque psoriasis in the genital area and prescribed Triamcinolone cream 1%. When I felt itchy, I began using the cream immediately. Within a week to 2 weeks of using a small amount of the cream daily my skin healed. Unfortunately it would recur within about a month. Visited derm dr. recently and he diagnosed as herpes. I have not used the cream and have had a lot of pain and outbreak in the same 2 sites.
He told me not to use it around my eye also due to eye pressure concerns. It was just one dot by my eye. And yes he did call the stuff around my mouth something with oral...not sure exact diagnosis. I haven't had anything wrong with my eye since then either. The rash will appear within 1-3 days of not using the creams on it and if I let it go it will just get worse.
my father has high intraoccular pressure about 35 mmhg his doctor recomnned him to take avastin injection after the injection his eye pressure increased to 40 mmhg so he send him to other eye surgoen to do canals ,what is this operation and what it`s complication ,my father is diabetic and has history of cardic ischemia
