Did anyone catch the Oprah show today? It was aswesome. Montel Williams, Magic Johnson, Scott Hamilton and Fran Dreschler all spoke about the day they received their diagnosis-MS, cancer, HIV.....and how they fought. Very inspiring and uplifting. 10 dpo and I have cramping. It feels different than regular cramping, but I had a .4 temp drop this morning. Could really be AF. Last month I had temp dip at 9 dpo and started spotting. I must tell you though its been a strange month for new symptoms. last night I had weird twinges and cramping and I got a sudden chill that made my nipples erect, ( sorry TMI ) and that was extremely painful.

Can you advise if thyriodism is on the rise and the ratio ie 1 in 4 and when it began. In cats the escalation started in 1980's and has been put down to pop top cans as being one of the causes. Can you advise if all removed human thryriods are given biopsies and are these know cause and effects listed on a registry somewhere. So as to track down causes and help eliminate the escalation of thyriod disease.

I woke this morning to the early morning news - The top story is Oprah talking about her weight again and (from how I am hearing it) she is speaking about her hypothyroidism as the situation. I know her last article she wrote about her "escape" to her retreat in Hawaii upset alot of us here - with her proclaiming "This HEALED her." But today it sounded she had another twist on things.

I have no respect for any doctor that will stand up and call his peers quacks.!! Mojogal, I thought the same thing when she announced she had chronic Lyme. Selfishly, I was thinking "yay! Maybe people will start taking this diagnosis more seriously." However, since then I have discovered that Oprah was diagnosed with Hashimoto's many years ago and diagnosis and treatment for it is just as bad as chronic Lyme still today.
