Common Questions and Answers about Tolterodine ir

detrol

Avatar f tn DETROL LA Capsules contain tolterodine tartrate. The active moiety, tolterodine, is a muscarinic receptor antagonist. The recommended dose of DETROL LA Capsules are 4 mg daily. DETROL LA should be taken once daily with liquids and swallowed whole. The dose may be lowered to 2 mg daily based on individual response and tolerability. Avatar f tn there no such thing as Oxycontin IR. It could be Oxycodone IR. Theres a H U G E difference between Oxycontin and Oxycodone. But if you can skip a day between doses and have only been taking then for a couple of months the withdrawls will be mild if any. Stop now while you can!!! Good Luck!
Avatar m tn A surprising finding of our study is the lack of predictive value of the HOMA-IR. The clinical significance of determining the HOMA-IR score before therapy is debated. Initial studies showed that chronic hepatitis C patients with HOMA-IR score <2 had significantly better chances of achieving SVR, independent of the HCV genotype.[6,8,35,36] The predictive value of HOMA-IR was further reported in patients of Asian[35,37,38] or Middle East ancestry.
Avatar m tn What is MS Contin and what is MS/IR. They are both morphine? Does the Contin mean extended release and the IR mean immediate release. The MS/IR also has the letters IMN REO. I'm trying to find out if the MS/IR can be cut in half for tapering. Thanks to all that reply.
Avatar f tn Drugs such as oxybutynin chloride (Ditropan®) and tolterodine (Detrusitol®, Detrol LA®) are taken orally, once a day, for overactive bladder. You can consult your doctor for these options. Also, I suggest you can initiate antibiotics like ofloxacin for better management of the infection.
Avatar m tn I'm IR (Insulin Resistant). You can't achieve SVR if your IR. What are the ways to manage IR? I've determined that it is best to incorporate lifestyle changes such as diet & exercise first. I'd like to expand on this in detail.
Avatar f tn Just told I am IR. I am thin, eat right snd exercise. Soooooo.......you think the IR will resolve after SVR? My father has type 2.
568322 tn?1370165440 Pre-treating with Metformin or Avandia for 3 months before tx lowered IR and viral load and resulted in an EVR of 71%....and the patients were co-infected (more difficult to clear) and some non-responders. (from AASLD meeting Nov 2008)..... "In Chronic Hepatitis C (HCV), Pretreatment with Thiazolidinediones (TZDs) or Metformin Decreases Insulin Resistance (IR) and HCV Viral Load and Increases Early Virologic Response (EVR)." M. Adler, J.L. Matloff, A.S. Boxer, H. Han, M.
Avatar m tn Has anyone had RVR with Diabetes or IR? After reading about how IR seems to interfere with the mechanism of interferon I wonder if RVR is out of the question if you have diabetes? I have been trying to get info on slow responders, nil responders and relapsers to try and gage how much IR really plays in the outcome.
179856 tn?1333547362 Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection has been reported to be associated with increased IR. Recent studies suggest that IR plays a crucial role in fibrosis progression, and has been demonstrated to have a negative impact on treatment responses to antiviral therapy in patients with chronic hepatitis C. A research article to be published on May 14, 2010 in the World Journal of Gastroenterology addresses this question. The research team led by Dr.
Avatar m tn In the past year, I have had to increase my dosage and now take 30 mgs IR 4 times a day and 30 mgs CR at night. I know my body is "dependent" on this medication, but I am not an abuser. I always follow the prescription and most times take less than prescribed. 2 days ago, I started experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms. My doctor authorized me to take up to 6 IR a day if needed. I never took that much but several days (not consecutive) I did take 5.
Avatar m tn So you're both saying it's IR, huh? Figures, that does seem to be the root problem these days, but "FL", you're saying it's not just IR but perhaps I'm IR in the next time zone but not in the present -- in other words, if a movie the title would be "Back to the IR".
619345 tn?1310341421 INSULIN LEVELS AND INSULIN RESISTANCE (IR) DEFINED BY THE HOMA-IR INDEX HAVE A DIRECT EFFECT ON EARLY KINETICS DURING PEGYLATED-INTERFERON THERAPY FOR CHRONIC HEPATITIS C. G. Bortoletto, S. Realdon, F. Dal Pero, M. Gerotto, L. Franceschini, L. Scribano, D. Martines, A. Alberti.
Avatar f tn For the past 5 months I have high numbers which is not me. Dr says I'm IR .
Avatar n tn After my last heart attack (1/1/10) my IR droped from approximately 40 to 30. Was prescribed ranexa , and cartizem (but not necessarily to improve IR) I didn't tolerate these meds and have dropped them since.I have not had retesting which would check IR but over the past 10 years it has varied 10 percent with the increase in summer activity versus a sedentiary life style during winter months.
