Tiotropium pronunciation

Common Questions and Answers about Tiotropium pronunciation

spiriva

Avatar m tn I take Spiriva Respimat (tiotropium bromide) 2.5 mcg/actuation, and Wixela (fluticasone propionate salmeterol inhalation powder) for my COPD. Is there a sequence I should be taking these meds in? Is there a time frame I should use between the two meds?
Avatar n tn Yes, there are. Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) is one and Serevent® Inhalation Aerosol (salmeterol xinafoate) another. Each is a bronchodilator and capable of giving good relief of shortness of breath.
Avatar f tn The problem is everyone is going to screw up the pronunciation and spelling. It will get annoying to her as well as you.
Avatar f tn If from the lungs, you could be experiencing Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) withdrawal symptoms, depending on what type of lung problem was being treated with the Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder). These symptoms, along with your arms feeling weak and heavy, could all be due to anxiety, but could also be symptoms of more serious disease of the heart or lungs. For that reason, you do need to see your doctor to sort this out.
1512722 tn?1313697879 m not sure on the pronunciation of your girl name either, but just basing it looks, I would choose Amelya
432779 tn?1364494875 To be honest I really like the way you spelled the pronunciation of the name. I think Keevah is really nice. Also, I like that you're going with traditional Irish names. For our boy we chose Finnigan!
Avatar f tn re not sure if we have the right spelling for the pronunciation we want.. Uh-Lee-Uh. we want that pronunciation, any spelling suggestions for that would be great! :) Thanks so much!
Avatar n tn This would include a long-acting bronchodilator, such as Serevent® Inhalation Aerosol (salmeterol xinafoate), Foradil® Aerolizer™ (formoterol fumarate inhalation powder) or Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) along with an inhaled steroid. Another potentially helpful, oral medicine is called theophylline. Your doctor may also want to prescribe this. You should have your blood oxygen level checked, in case it is low and you would need supplemental oxygen.
Avatar f tn I really like Irish names, particularly ones that are not used much any more, even here in Ireland. My friend's little girl is named Fia and it means 'deer' or 'wild thing'. I also love Saoirse (meaning freedom), Gráinne (a derivative of the word of love), Roisín (meaning little rose) Reiltín (means little star) and Aoife. You'll have to look up pronunciation of all of these online, as the Irish language has a completely different set of pronunciation rules to English.
Avatar f tn I have 1 daughter and 2 boys already. The name is cute. ... as for pronunciation people may get confused how to pronounce it because of the I.....I would think you could say it 3 ways ale-onna, ale-anna or alayna. I'm not sure what pronunciation you were going for but I think there all nice. Congrats!
1546730 tn?1312854492 I agree with huluhutgirl on the pronunciations - it really depends on your intentions. From experience I encourage you to choose a name that isn't confusing or requires constant correction in spelling or pronunciation. As a recipient of such a name, it's frustrating even after all these years.
Avatar m tn First of all, sorry for my poor English. I have some question about HIV test. I asked my doctor about the method of HIV and aks her is it EIA? She said yes. She spoke the whole name of the method. Pronunciation was like "en-ter-tise" blood test....Is that kind of EIA? One more thing, do all the clinics have license to do HIV tests?
Avatar f tn It sounds like you don't like the name 100% but feel obliged to use it. Maybe in that case, you would be able to use it as the middle name and not the first name? Then the spelling wouldn't matter that much. I am not too big on giving a kid a name that is said in the usual way and trying to make it "clever" or "unique" by changing the spelling.
Avatar f tn Could b unisex.....I just love out the box names....I think with a strong middle name it would a great fit.
5727805 tn?1378193052 Doesnt seem that hard to me. My whole life my name has been pronounced wrong. My parents are the first to correct people. If its someone i will never see again i just let it go. My friends and others in my life need to get it right though.
Avatar f tn Imagine being named Sasset?
Avatar f tn I'm looking for boys names that have nice meaning and pronunciation. Any suggestions?
2025592 tn?1348156019 d go with the more common spelling of Sebastian, just because it will change the pronunciation. I like all of your name choices, but you might also think about what nicknames are likely to come from them...some of which you might not like as much. My mom named my brother Rafael and loved the full Spanish pronunciation, and spent his childhood telling people, "His name is not Ralf!" lol.
1124862 tn?1303850973 specially because of their pronunciation... i mean not that you should make them super close to each other... but... i think they should be closer in pronunciation.. like maybe taylor ann and haley grace.... or something of the kind...
Avatar f tn So cute
Avatar f tn Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) has a maximum duration of action of about 36 hours. To be safe, you would want to be off the medicine for 48 to 72 hours before the spirometry. It would have been preferable, but not mandatory to do the pulmonary function tests (PFTs) at the time the diagnosis of chronic lung disease was made especially if the diagnosis was unequivocal. The other important question would be, “Why 3 CT scans, presumably of your lungs, in 16 months?
Avatar m tn Cause of low DLCO and drop in it from test 1 to test 1? I am currently on tiotropium bromide and salmeterol/fluticasone propionate. My reason for posting this is one doc is pessimistic and the other highly optimistic. Thank you.
Avatar f tn Spiriva contains tiotropium bromide which is an anticholinergic bronchodilator. So, yes, both have action against acetylcholine recptors and both are efefctive bronchodilators. You can take any one of them. Indacaterol is an ultra-long-acting beta-adrenoceptor agonist. So, it gives bronchodialation for a much longer time. It is a more recent drug so long term efficacy data are not available. However, available data does show a marked benefit in individuals with COPD.
Avatar f tn t open the door to automatic teasing and enquiries about pronunciation.
Avatar m tn The thickness of palatal plate probably does not affect singing capability. Ariculation or pronunciation is much influended by front teeth alignment. A well made full upper can yield comfortable and effortless articulation. Seeing a prosthodontist is advised.
