I take Spiriva Respimat (tiotropium bromide) 2.5 mcg/actuation, and Wixela (fluticasone propionate salmeterol inhalation powder) for my COPD. Is there a sequence I should be taking these meds in? Is there a time frame I should use between the two meds?
Yes, there are. Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) is one and Serevent® Inhalation Aerosol (salmeterol xinafoate) another. Each is a bronchodilator and capable of giving good relief of shortness of breath.
I was told to stop my spiriva in Aug. that I had been using for about 3 yrs. This was after I had a PFT for the first time. I've had three ct scans over the past three yrs. Shows granulomata and calcified nodules..no change. For the past couple of days I've been very SOB and my arms feel weak and heavy. My chest doesn't hurt it just feels tight/full. Today has been worse. I was also put on neurontin 1 1/2 weeks ago for headaches and wonder if that could have anything to do with it.
Sorry to say, there are no cures, but there are good treatments, especially with inhaled medicine. If you have not already stopped smoking cigarettes, you must stop immediately. Then you should begin respiratory medicine for this condition.
At my six-monthly checkup at my local hospital here in Spain there was a replacement doctor and since he was young I thought he might be willing to hear why I was not taking spiriva and steroids. He confirmed that a person with severe COPD MUST use these medicines. But - I objected - they do not cure, they’re only supposed to make you feel a little better and have nasty adverse effects.
Cause of low DLCO and drop in it from test 1 to test 1? I am currently on tiotropium bromide and salmeterol/fluticasone propionate. My reason for posting this is one doc is pessimistic and the other highly optimistic.

Spiriva® HandiHaler® (tiotropium bromide inhalation powder) has a maximum duration of action of about 36 hours. To be safe, you would want to be off the medicine for 48 to 72 hours before the spirometry. It lasted for two months with mild pain most of the time, and there were even soreness and itching on groin and thighs for a week or two, then it was on and off for a couple of weeks, mainly on the foreskin.
I took a yeast swab test and also hiv, hepatitis, chlamydia and gonorre on 2nd of november, all negative.
I also have felt soreness inside penis, and urinary passages or something else more inside.
It feels a little like eye strain- like a pulled muscle type of feeling, uncomfortable and sore on the eye intermittently, and there is some soreness inside the lids and dryness. Noticeable strain looking up and down, left right... it pulls and feels sore.

t know much about tumeric or ms but I have severe inflammation from herniated disc arthritis ect and I take Black cherry extract for it. It works better than the prescriptions I was on. I take the NOW brand 750 mg capsules 2 per day more on days I am going to be active. In a pinch I will even drink cherry juice but it is not as concentrated as the capsules so they work better for me. They are also cheaper online by about half.

Two weeks later I had anoscopy done and doctor just saw lots of inflammation. Sometimes that pain is to the left also. My sister is allergic to gluten and my mom has diverticulitits. I am young women, 31, married with one son. Anyone have any ideas what this is? I've tried several herbal supplements and rectal suppositiories. I am on steroidal suppositories now. Any ideas what this is? Could it be food allergy? I just started gluten free 2 days ago.

I have been having problems with rib pain for about a year now. I realized it when the kids (both preschoolers) would bump into me. It doesn't seem to be that chondritis that's localized to just the sternum area-- i think that's called chostochondritis. My whole rib cage, front and back, collarbones, and hips seem to ache when I apply pressure to them.
finally, I am seeing is penile discharge which is clear and not very smelly but it might very well be precum because I do fantasize every now and then in a day. also I feel on-and-off itchy sensation in the anus and some times mild irritation. in addition, I did see that the throat region is mildly reddish than rest of the palate and I feel the urge to clear my throat over the past one week. i hope it is due to paranoia but I cannot be careful enough. do the symptoms say anything?

So, then... can't they remove that growing fatty deposit, which is now causing you so much discomfort? I saw your pics and, I can only imagine the pain your going through.
the lump was increased in size, had pain, redness and another signs of inflammation.....I decided beginning antibiotic and went with another dentist ....finally this Dr. made x-ray and saw a huge mass(aprox. 2cm) that affected jaw bone ....this molar and next are moils so he decided extraction of the molar with previous root canal ,emotion of the tumor, curettage of bone and clean this area ....
Should I try to get Imiquimod or Tazarotene to rid of this redness and spot? What if doxycline does not resolve meatus inflammation? I have been two urologists and three dermatologists. Should I opt for a biopsy? This is causing severe mental stress. Please help.

We have been taking strong antibiotics for years and that has helped greatly. My mom though has been ver busy and stressed out that she has not been taking her antibiotics to keep her Lyme in check. Hi, I have had intense vulvar itching and inflammation around the vulvar area. I haven't had any discharge so I know it's not thrush. I normally get this during my period but this time I got it before my period started and the itchiness n inflammation is much more intense. I'm 21 and otherwise healthy. I'm not sexually active atm so it's can't be STD. What could this be?
I think the symptoms of the general PATM are already clear.
