Avatar m tn I was on tiazac 360mg for a couple of years for high blood pressure.I started having palpitations, skipped beats. The longer I was on it the worse it got. It finally got to where I was having some beats so strong and violent.I told my cardiologist and asked to change medication or a lower dose.He told me to go back to my family doctor who prescribed it originally. As it was 6 weeks to see him, I decided to stop the tiazac. After a few days the symptoms went away.
Avatar f tn t take this anymore. I have heart palpitations because of the reflux and I am taking Tiazac xc to help control them but it doesn't work that well. I have been sleeping sitting up on my couch for at least a year. I don't feel like I have been receiving good care from my doctors that's why I haven't been back. Everytime I go see the doctor it is a total waste of time and nobody seems to be able to help me. I have small children to care for and I'm always sick.
Avatar n tn Rymthol 325 mg and Tiazac 180 mg. I converted from this episode shortly after arriving home. Had one more episode the following day lasting for about 1/2 hr. Diagnosis after episodes and all the testing was a-fib in an otherwise health heart Since that time, I have had only one episode -- recently for about 15 minutes. I just went into see my cardiologist for my annual EKG and check-up. He wants to do a Nuclear stress test.
Avatar n tn Still hiked, xc ski, backpacked. Got rid of them with taurine, l-carnitine, l-arginine (500 mg each/day), 2 weeks to see improvement, gone in 4 weeks.
Avatar f tn I took tiazac about 7 days and have not had any since last wed would any of it still be in my system
Avatar f tn ok they say I have PVCs i have no clue!!!! I stopped the tiazac after about 7 days and my blood pressure has gone lower than when i was on it and i am still very dizzy.........heart rate is in the 70s to 100s..My dr said go ahead and start the coreg, and to take it only when things are over a 100.Well my pharmasist told me that coreg is a drug that needs to be taken daiely not as needed so im so confused.
Avatar f tn Hi I was on Tiazac for about 6 ot 7 days and i skipped a few days of it,i have been feeling extremely dizzy and i saw my heart dr yesterday and he told me to stop the tiazac and he is puttting me on Coreg 6.
Avatar n tn is it possible that my heart rate might revert to normal rhythm on its own (before the ablation)? If so, under what circumstances might this happen? Also, is there a way that I could help it along (particular exercises, foods, etc.)?
Avatar m tn m kind of pale for FL, but not like a ghost or anything. I run XC, but have been taking a break for a couple of months in the offseason. I can't quite remember when this started, but it's happened for quite some time now, though I don't recall if I noticed it during the XC season).
Avatar f tn The cardiologist thinks my problem is because my diastolic BP increases with exercise. So, he put me on Tiazac 240 mg OD. The first few days, it made me more short of breath to the point that I couldn't walk across the room without stopping. And my cough got worse. It is a little better now(2 weeks later) but still worse than prior to starting the drug. My BP runs around 120/97 so it obviously is not enough. My BP was lower before taking this medication. Does this sound normal?
Avatar n tn She added two new drugs, viz Dapagliflozin 10 mg, and Rosuvastatin 10 mg.
1154802 tn?1266485720 I can't tell from your post if you are someone trying to see if they have diabetes, or a diagnosed diabetic wondering where they should be at post prandial. If you are the former, then it would be abnormal to rise above 120 for a non-diabetic. Also for a diagnosed diabetic, many doctors still use the ADA figure of 180 but studies have shown that complications begin at sustained numbers above 140 so that might be a safer goal imho.
Avatar f tn Awesome thankies rockrose you got long to go xc
Avatar f tn I'm a 47-year-old woman, with a couple of arrhythmias: a re-entry that runs about 180 beats per minute, and ends on its own; and a slower (140 beats per minute) IST or atrial tach that I get more frequently but which also ends on its own. I've had a full work-up - Holters, stress echo, CT scan of heart, loop recorder. I'm taking Tiazac and Acebutolol, which has really decreased the frequency of episodes.
Avatar f tn My contractions Are ever Five min apart an I'm still 1 cm xc what should I do ?????
Avatar m tn But I do not want it because I guess 135 mg is not that potent as 180 mg. Any advise? Maybe somebody experience same? Meanwhile I am not experiencing any sides from my treatment.
Avatar n tn I've been on Armour for 4 years now. I've been on 180 mg for 3 years. When its adjusted by free t4 and free t3 it works well for many.
1711722 tn?1356487554 s too bad they provide a preloaded syringe with 180 mg and 45 mg of this expensive medication goes unused. Considering the cost, I don't understand why they can't provide you the proper dosage, rather than just squirt it out. For every three 180 mg syringes, you would have enough left over for the fourth shot. Seems like a waste.
Avatar f tn Currently I am taking Diltiazem 420 mg daily and Isosorbide 90 mg. daily. Because the risk of spasms is greater during the early hour of the morning when waking up, I split the 90 mg. of isosorbide taking 30 mg in the afternoon and then 60 mg before going to bed.
Avatar f tn how many off u are gona have a girl in Jan an Wat u gona call her xc
Avatar n tn So in addition to my regular daily meds (Tiazac and Acebutolol), I take an Ativan as soon as a bad SVT starts. Just being able to do something -- even just taking a pill -- to try and make the event better seems to help a lot. I do the vagal maneuvres also, which help some of the time.
