I know you're not supposed to drink soda while pregnant but it's the only thing that calms my belly! I throw up multiple times a day until I drunk coke and then I'm fine. What do you ladies think?

83 year old woman is throwing up 3 three hours now, water/bile but has not been drinking in the last 3 hours...

Prior to throwing up I drank maybe 12 ounces of water. The blood was, in my estimate, a few ounces in volume. It also came out of my nose which was fairly odd to me. Did I just tear something or does it indicate something more serious? I'm sure I drink more than some but less than most. It might be worth mentioning that I also drink alot of water - at least 64 ounces of water during the day. Any ideas?

Now I got 7 days in and didn't throw up today,now I just feel a new low in depression,guess its just a bad day.

Well am happy as ever that am now in my 2nd trimester however I am still experiencing nausea and throwing up my dinner at night. I drunk ginger I ate peppermint but nothing seems to be working :( and this feeling is just awful.

My daughter has been dealing with that since she was about 6 years old. She randomly wakes up sick in the morning throws up a few times and then is fine. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out if it was a certain food item, but it's not. We try to control the symptoms by taking Zantac 75 before dinner (per doctor recommendation), and not eating for several hours before bedtime, this has helped quite a bit, although she still gets flair ups from time to time.

I'm so beyond tired I can hardly stay away for an hour or 2. And when i do i feel drunk. I sleep fine at night then sleep till 2:30. I don't recall feeling this drowsy or drowsy at all with my other two. My Dr's apt isn't for a month. Anyone one have advice on how to get past this or is this normal?

As soon as I got to the bathroom I started throwing up this yellowish white stuff. But every time some would come up I would sit there and gasp for air and none would come. I'm not sure if it was because I was throwing up so much or if it was stomach acid or if I was inhaling it. I'm also 31 weeks 1 day, so I don't think it's morning sickness. Has this happened to anybody before or know why it happened?

(Or because I decide to taper my dose too fast and wind up in withdrawals.) Last time I ended up in the ER for hydration and wound up being admitted. I did have an other issue BUT found my potassium levels were WAY off; to the point they had to give me supplements, and when I would take them, I could really notice the difference. Your electrolytes can get thrown off, too. Gatorade is good (though personally I can't stand it.

But, keep in touch with your physician (or the physician on-call), communicate your concerns with them....you are why they're in business!

If you should treat yourself a food that might not be the best choice, just make up for it in the day or two after. Keep your treats to a minimum and just keep the portions small. Everything in moderation. Keep a food diary so that you can keep track of what you are eating and how you are eating. It will help you figure things out. Love yourself. You are lovable, beautiful and very important.

You can ask your doctor to give you nausea medicine if you're habing trouble keeping food down :) i take it and it helps alot

m so confused but for some reason here lately I keep throwing up in the morning and it drives me crazy! I will take your input. I want to see a doctor but my mom thinks it's silly and says my weight is fine. I will figure it out. Thank you for helping Catherine, I really appreciate it.

I am 21 weeks pregnant with a baby girl and for some reason whenever I sleep with a heater on I throw up the next morning.. why is that? I want to be worm when I sleep not freeze but seems like if I freeze im fine the next morning... any Ideas wha I can do??

He begs for food all the time and we cannot leave food out on the counter as he is (dumpster diving) here in the kitchen. I am very concerned about the throwing up. Do you think this will end eventually?

Hi Amanda, Congratulations on your pregnancy ! You are so lucky that you are not throwing up a lot. My girls are now 6 but let me tell you - I was throwing up throughout my entire pregnancy and mostly in the beginning for three months. Now, I have beautiful and healthy growing girls. Before you know it, your pregnancy will be a distant memory.

If you're throwing up blood you probably need to go to the hospital. You're probably dehydrated hun. I threw up everyday at least 2 times until I was 28 weeks, and was in the hospital 5 times for dehydration. Dehydration can lead to preterm labor, which is no good at 23 weeks. If you don't want to go in right away I'd call your dr and see what they say to do.

There are a lot of reasons to throw up. A LOT of reasons. Food poisoning, lying on your stomach for too long, illness, etc. But in any case, if you really want to make sure to avoid pregnancy, you should use condoms in addition to birth control, that way if either one fails, you still have the other one. And if you want to make sure you're not pregnant, even if you don't think you are, take a home pregnancy test. They're about $7 at Meijers and you get results in three minutes.

Our 4 year old Old English Sheepdog has been throwing up regularly for a few months. She always had a sensitive stomach and tended to throw up if she ate something other than her food or if she drank her water too fast but now she is throwing up yellow bile a couple times a week on an empty stomach. About a month ago she coughed up blood so we took her to the vet.

It's just stomach acid. You didn't have anything in your stomach. Nothing to be worried about. I usually eat a few crackers before bed to avoid that or else I throw up acid around 2am like clockwork.

Hello, My cat has been throwing up a brown very watery liquid for the past few days. He will go maybe a whole day and not throw up at all but then overnight we find that he's thrown up 4 or 5 times. He still drinks his water and eats his food and seems his normal self but i'm worried there might be something else wrong. Oh, this morning in his vomit was a lot of little white pecks maybe a little larger than grains of salt or sugar. Thnx any help would be appreciated.
