Hello, My cat has been throwing up a brown very watery liquid for the past few days. He will go maybe a whole day and not throw up at all but then overnight we find that he's thrown up 4 or 5 times. He still drinks his water and eats his food and seems his normal self but i'm worried there might be something else wrong. Oh, this morning in his vomit was a lot of little white pecks maybe a little larger than grains of salt or sugar. Thnx any help would be appreciated.
My 2yr old son was a good sleeping up until 3wks ago...Both of our sons were the type of children you could lay them in their beds while they were awake and with no issues they would fall asleep on their own...Now our 2yr old screams when you even get near his room for nap time...I have to sit on the floor and hold his hand till he falls asleep...Bed time we have even more issues...
Now I got 7 days in and didn't throw up today,now I just feel a new low in depression,guess its just a bad day.
The vet has even begun implicating pyschogenic vomiting--he thinks Jake might know that if he throws up, he gets fed soon after. In his doggie mind, he has "learned" that puking preceeds eating, so he thinks "If I puke, Mommy feeds me". I think this is a very valid theory.
When I hear the unmistakable sound that he's going to puke, I used to rush him outside and get his breakfast or dinner ready, because its usually almost time, anyway.
Does he do this at every meal ,white and lumpy could it be from milk ? Can you give us an idea of his eating pattern ?
Is it normal for a toddler (15 months) to stim by poking/ rubbing his eyes? He does this whenever he is having his bottle. We always hold him while he is 'nursing'. I am a special education teacher and have seen such behaviors in older children with disablilites, but I am not sure about a normal toddler. This is my grandson and none of my four children ever did this kind of thing. He talks, points and communicates in many ways quite normally.
Our 22-month-old (second son) cries and throws tantrums constantly. We can't get out the door each morning with less than 3 fits. Sometimes he's mad if the wrong parent picks him up out-of-the crib. Or maybe he doesn't want us to put on his shoes. Or doesn't want his dirty diaper changed. I feel like I fight him on everything. Lately he's been throwing a fit when I (mom) pick him up from day care.
I put my son in a toddler bed at 15-17 months.
He has been getting sick about 2 times an hour which is either white foam or Food that he had in his belly. His breathing has dramatically changed, his breathing has become shallow and at times sounds like he is breathing quick short breaths. He won't eat or drink now and I checked neck n it's like he is dehydrated n when I checked his gums they are pink. He is sleeping now but you can see he is taking quick short breaths. He has no energy to play with us or toys.
I'm due January 9th, my church family is throwing me one on December 6! My mother who is a Jehovah's witnesses also was planning on throwing me one on December13th but we decided the money she was going to spend on the shower can be used to buy her crib/toddler bed and all the stuff she will need. I love my mommy for that!
She went to sleep and I went out for a few hours. She did not throw up at all when I was gone and was just sleeping on the couch. About 30 minutes after I got back she threw up two smaller amount, but the bile was reddish with blood.
I took her outside and she did her business, but nothing our of the ordinary there. Her stool was firm and no blood in that. She urinated without any problem.
