At first I thought I was allergic to eggs so I cut those out of my diet but I keep throwing up!! This makes me insecure because it's making me loose weight. i'm the lightest I've been in a few years and was upset about being too skinny before this happened. I just want to gain weight and be healthy again.

Avatar m tn Some people are always afraid of having a heart attack, some are afraid of seizures, I am afraid of throwing up. These are all things that are uncontrollable, and that's what makes them scary to us. I know that these pieces of advice are probably not medically sound, but this is what works for me... Don't get more than 7 hours sleep, 6.5 is my max, and 5 is my minimum. When I am too rested, I have a buildup of energy and I feel so much more anxious. Second, exercise.
Avatar n tn Your symptoms of moving your legs in sleep could be due to a sleep disorder called Periodic Limb Movement Disorder (PLMD). They disrupt sleep and cause involuntary movements during sleep. The cause is not known. They can be diagnosed with a sleep study and medications help to control them. Follow good sleep hygiene measures like going to bed at the same time, waking up at the same time, avoidance of alcohol, smoking and caffeinated beverages.

Avatar f tn Maybe your doctor can give you something to stop the anxiety surrounding the throwing up. Help you relax it up some. Theraphy can help too. I have been to a lot of that. Hate even talking about throwing up. Theraphy was great. Got used to talking about it. That's how much of a fear it was. Keep your head and I hope you can find help.

Avatar n tn You describe symptoms that are sometimes associated with Restless Leg Syndrome and/or Periodic Limb Movement Disorder and also sleep apnea. Both of these could be assessed during a sleep study, as well as your oxygen levels, heart beat, and stages of sleep your brain achieves. Hopefully you are treating your acid reflux and sleeping with the head of the bead slightly elevated and on your left side.
