Someone said that Topotecan worked better when combined with thalidomide -- don't know much more about it than that, although when I have chemo again (when the Arimidex doesn't hold my counts steady anymore) they are threatening me with topotecan next.
thalidomide used in the past was thought safe.
The only thing I can think of would be nerve ending damage which can happen while having treatment. Ask your doctor about that. I had it and it is not nice.
It is very difficult to treat, but current therapies include steroids, vitamins, cryosurgery, thalidomide and UVB light. If staphylococcus or other infection is present, then antibiotics may be needed.

i am 6 months pregnant. i put up a post a couple of weeks ago that we had to move to an apartment because we were evicted from our home because the house was really old and wasn't "livable anymore" i guess it was too messed up to live in there. our new apartment doesn't allow "big dogs" even if we paid the 400 a month for them plus rent we couldn't have them. they are husky mix dogs. i have had them for 5 years now and i raised them before they even had teeth.
I feel like it should be her helping me because I dont have a job and am having my C-Section tomorrow and will have a new baby to take care of as well. The other day my boyfriends 15 year old sister stopped by and my mom gets on the computer looking at very graphic sexual pictures.
Has anyone found anything else that lessons the symtoms of this? I recently started the Topotecan/Thalidomide course which could add to this problem.
I recently started seeing a new girl. The first time we had sex was about 2 weeks ago, I remember her saying that when I went inside her that it burned. I thought nothing of it at the time. We have continued to see each other and have had unprotected sex about 5 to 8 times. Most of the times we have had sex she would have to stop because she felt a "burn".

A physician may administer a strong dose of prednisone, which will almost immediately stop the itch/scratch cycle. However, cessation of steroids allows relapse to occur, usually within a few weeks.
Have you heard of alternate uses for Armidex? I have endometriosis stage 4, I had 2 surgeries in 2006, and my surgeon is putting me on Armidex to try to control the pain. Is this a common use for this medicine?

The T3 & T4 numbers you gave appear to be TOTAL and not "free". and are outdated and of little value. You REALLY need to get the FREE T4 and FREE T3 tests done. They are "free" in terms of the hormone molecule not being attached to a protein and thus are "free". The body only uses FREE hormone molecules.
I have been treated with several meds, including, but not limited to Iodine drops, Thalidomide, Prednisone, and topical steroids. I am now on 10 mg of Prednisone. I have been on that dosage for 6 years now, and the medication is not treating my body very nicely with weakened joints that ache, bad bruising on my arms and legs, weight gain, and a host of other problems that go with the steroid use. One of the best things for the E/N is the application of a topical steroid, Lydex cream.
