While I am in no way as informed as many as these women and offer no medical info, I can say to a daughter from another daughter that I am sorry that you too must carry this burden. Daughters as you and I who love their Mothers so deeply ache in our hearts. While I may not offer a whole lot of medical "knowledge" I can give offer up my prayers to the God of hope and comfort.
From a midwife point of view- a baby was only ever counted as full term at 37 weeks when they used to count you as being pregnant from the day of conception. These days the pregnancy count starts from the first day of your last period, this adds 2 weeks to your pregnancy. Hence full term is 39 weeks. However the longer the baby is in the better. 40 weeks is considered the right amount of time in most countries.
This is known as Prurigo nodularis, and treatment is with external application of ultra-potent steroids.
I think you should call her and not just text so that she can hear your tone. Just make sure yoy have your mind made up and know what you want to say. Good luck to you as it won't be easy to do but better to get it out there as soon as possible so other arrangements can be made if need be.

No there aren't many incidents that I've heard of. If these things for pregnancies or babies are sooooo bad for us, I'm sure we'd hear more about it other then there all of a sudden on recall..... Doesn't make sense and its illegal for things to be in stores if there on recall. Every store I've been to have all these medications or anything recalled.
The only thing I can think of would be nerve ending damage which can happen while having treatment. Ask your doctor about that. I had it and it is not nice.
Just to be on the safe side. You never know... Thalidomide was once considered safe too, but the result was catastrophic!
Adults are not susceptible to HIV infection through ingestion of breast milk. There are no reported cases of infection in adults through breast milk exposure. You were prescribed PEP unnecessarily and irresponsibly.
For adults, we often say that FT4 ought to be about midrange. Babies, however, run higher levels of FT4 than adults. The FT4 range you provide doesn't appear to be age-adjusted (it looks like an adult range). Perhaps your pedi endo is adfvising you to increase because he knows babies should have higher levels??? Also, her TSH is quite high, and this usually indicates that a meds increase is in order.
Babies don't have a mature immune system as adults and adults don't breastfeed.
