I tried tee tree oil, fungul cream, iodine and clear nail polish. People on forums were swearing by different things that worked but still said it took 2-4 weeks to heal if at all........ Well I say " ain't nobody got time for that". I found out about neem oil tues night , bought and started applying wed morning. The bumps are either tremendously reduced in size or gone on thursday, but is itching like crazy. Can't wait to get back to normal.

Okay so I recently took my nail polish off only to find giant yellow blotches on my nails I washed my hands tried reremoving it with nail polish remover paint my nails a different color and remove it again. But the yellow blotches are still on my nails what could it be?!?!

Ok this has happened to me twice n the last 2 years or so... When I wear nail polish longer than say 3 week or so, I go to remove the polish and my 2 big toe nails are most white, looking like they've been scratched up. Does polish really cause this?? I'm afraid to just cover over it with new polish for fear it won't go away. The first time I saw that I did not put any polish on again and it tooks months and months for that to go away.

It's the nail polish. Any color can stain the nail but red or darker colors make it worse. Applying 1 or 2 clear base coats will help in the future with this like steph4302 said. Good luck.

I just looked an article up about nail polish and although there are some harmful chemicals in nail polish you can still paint your nails. The article just advised that you don't frequent the nail salon much and if you do paint your nails make sure to do so in a well ventilated room.

It's fine. . Just wear a mask to cover your nose and mouth If you can't handle the Smell.. They should have them there, you can just ask for one and if you go to a nail salon make sure they properly clean their tools.
