Patient had a bout of dehydration 18 days prior to the date in question which required I.V. electrolytes.

IIRC about 30% of women have thyroid enlargement during pregnancy.
(normal range of AST being 10-35, ALT being 6-40, on my particular lab slip) When my AST went to 398 and ALT went to 500 I thought that jump may have been an indicator that my liver was really inflamed, so I went to a Doctor who treats specializes in treating Hep C, and she agreed with me, and ordered a biopsy, and then we went from those more accurate results.
There are 100 different reasons that a persons enzymes may be elevated, besides Hep C, by the way.
t do appropriate drug testing prior to FDA review and approval, and it turned out that Ketek can have sudden and very bad effects on liver function...'very bad' as in, liver failure and death...on a few taking it.

Hey I was recently sufferin from a bad cough and I was prescribed piriton cs. By mistake I took a single dose of 25 mg chlorpheniramine maleate and also 500 mg paracetamol along with it. I've been having a slight pain in my upper right abdomen ever since. Is this a sign of possible liver damage? Is it possible to damage liver at the above dose? Thanks in advance. I would really appreciate your input.
I was told by my doctor not to drink any alcohol while on the medication and I have followed her instructions to the T with out one drop of alcohol in my system for the entire time I have been on the pills. I will be taking my last pill next week (July 20th) and I am wondering at which point will it be safe to drink alcohol again. Since beginning the pills I have graduated college, passed my registry, and found a job and I have been planning a late celebration for after I finish the pills.
I've been taking subutec for 6 years and wanted to know if it affects any of the hepatitus's in a positive or especially in a negative way?
We were both very surprised and scared of each other. I immediately poured whiskey all over my penis and even in the hole at the tip (yes, very painful). I proceeded to take a shower. Now, it has been about 19 hours and I picked up some pills at a local pharmacy. I was hoping to get the PEP (28 day set), but they gave me 2 doses of both truvada and stocrin 600 mg. Will this be sufficient?
No uniform pattern of hepatotoxicity has been identified and severity may range from asymptomatic elevations of serum liver enzymes to hepatic failure and death. Exact estimates on how frequent adverse hepatic reactions occur as a result of DSs cannot be provided. Liver injury from DSs mimicking other liver diseases is increasingly recognized.
Older women with liver disease seem to be particularly susceptible to the hepatotoxicity of NSAIDs and are advised to avoid NSAIDs altogether. Since NSAIDs may cause salt and water retention people with fluid retention problems such as ascites or leg swelling may suffer worsening of these conditions. People with decompensated cirrhosis are at increased risk kidney damage stemming from the use of NSAIDs.
