To critically review the literature on liver injury because of DSs, delineating patterns and mechanisms of injury and to increase the awareness towards this cause of acute and chronic liver damage.
Please inform yourself about this condition, known as PSSD (post SSRI sexual dysfunction). Do a google search. There are case reports in peer reviewed journals; a literature review in the Open Psychology Journal; a credible youtube video by Man from UK; a yahoo support group with many credible reports of PSSD. Do not assume that any side effects of SSRIs are benign.
The American Thyroid Association and the Endocrine Society guidelines recommend using PTU in the 1st half of pregnancy if drug treatment is needed due to a greater frequency of birth defects with MMI. This increased risk of birth defects with MMI is very small as a Food and Drug Administration review of all pregnancies between 1969-2009 found 29 reports of birth defects associated with MMI use in the first trimester of pregnancy as compared to 9 reports of PTU-associated birth defects.
The FDA has reviewed postmarketing data, cases from US registries of DILI as well as ALF, and other sources of information on statin-related hepatotoxicity, and has concluded that the risk of serious liver injury from all currently marketed statins is 'very low' (including a risk of less than or equal to just 2 per 1 million patient-years in the Adverse Event Reporting System database).
The most striking finding is the almost total lack of convincing evidence for efficacy. Numerous case reports and case series were found. The majority of these publications seem to indicate that chelation therapy is effective. Only 2 controlled clinical trials were located. They provide no evidence that chelation therapy is efficacious beyond a powerful placebo effect.
In addition, there have been several reports and case series of acute, clinically apparent liver injury arising within 2 to 20 weeks of starting buprenorphine, usually following misuse and intravenous administration of sublingual tablets. However, some cases occurred in patients who denied intravenous use and were on conventional sublingual doses. In most cases, the pattern of serum enzyme elevations was hepatocellular and the presentation resembled acute toxic hepatic necrosis.

Despite fairly extensive use, tadalafil has been linked to only rare reports of serum aminotransferase elevations and clinically apparent liver injury. In a single case report, tadalafil was linked to cholestatic hepatitis arising within a few days of starting the medication. Immunoallergic features and autoantibodies were not present. The injury was self-limiting without residual evidence of bile duct injury.
t do appropriate drug testing prior to FDA review and approval, and it turned out that Ketek can have sudden and very bad effects on liver function...'very bad' as in, liver failure and death...on a few taking it.

There are very few cases in the medical literature where myocardial rupture is felt to have occurred in association with cardiopulmonary resuscitation. In the case reports that I could find, 3 were adults, and one was a 4 year-old child. As best as I can tell, this is most likely due to perforation from a fractured rib during CPR. It also may be due to weakening of the heart muscle from an underlying disease, such as myocarditis, a viral infection of the heart muscle.
t automatically get copies of reports and in fact screening normally only starts from the age of fifty and then only every three years unless there is a problem. With this in mind, I was just concerned about the three month referral period, but I'm sure if there had been any issue they would have done a fine needle aspiration or biopsy.

Have you ever been tested for cortisol and ferritin? There are reports of reactions occurring sometimes when cortisol or ferritin are too low in the range. You can get your doctor to order tests for both. Usually they will only order a morning serum cortisol (total Cortisol) test, which is not as useful as a diurnal saliva cortisol (free cortisol) panel of 4 tests at different times of the day, because cortisol levels change significantly during the day.
This has been treated with ultrasound, condroitin sulphate pills for three months, anti-inflammatory drugs on and off, and an insole. The pain when I walk is still there and at times intense. I have two questions:
1. Several physicians have propose hyaluronic acid or cortisone injections. Which is recommended?
2. One physician offered to perform a chondral transplant, consisting in taking fresh chartilage from my knee and implanting it in the toe, with arthroscopic surgery.
I attempted to review the medical literature but there is virtually no literature on this topic. I would get the MRI to see if this is truly a cyst. Sometimes people with a previous history of syphilis get aortic aneurysms or cysts. If that is not your case you may have cystic medial necrosis..I think the MRI will help clarify.
Three days after your period ends? Depends on how long your period lasts...If you have a 7 day period and you have a question about it happening on cycle day 10 then it is somewhat likely but not super likely...cd10 would be a little early considering that most (not all) women ovulate around cd14-16 depending on their luteal phase...
