tekturna

Avatar n tn t smoke, do exercise, am thin). My doctor put me on a diuretic, Tekturna and Bystolic, and within a week I had completely lost my sense of taste! Anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if it's a side effect that will wear off if I just stick it out. The combination seems to be working well to lower my bp and hr but I'm losing weight (a bad thing) and really, really miss food!
788117 tn?1304011947 Have you considered having weekly total calories eaten and expended like WebMD? They also allow for tracking the calories expended doing specific daily activities like sleeping, desk work, shopping, etc. That way you can account for all the calories you burn in one day (not just those related to exercise) and compare them to all the calories you consume. I like their diet tracker very much but I like that Med Help has trackers for my migraines, my mood, etc.
Avatar n tn Hi! If you are on facebook, check out the Lyme Disease and Wellness page. Those bands are specific for Lyme and unfortunately mainstream doctors and infectious disease doctors will dismiss them. You'd be better off seeing an LLMD or a Naturopathic doctor, which usually isn't covered by insurance unfortunately, but they can help you rather than spinning your wheels. Best of luck!
9584608 tn?1413678892 Has anyone ever had this or has it now? I was looking at WebMD and with my symptoms I've been having, it kind sounds like that may be what I have. My symptoms are frequent heartburn, feeling a pressure on my chest that makes it hard to breathe, and an acidy taste in my mouth.
Avatar m tn WebMD has a link for this but according to WebMD, you are supposed to fast and drink in the morning if you want to examine kidneys and eat a fat-free meal the night before for liver examination well I was directed to only fast and drink nothing in morning before the taste- I probably didn't eat fat in the night before but I was wondering what this examination of the abdomen can discover- there was only a technician conducting the test who couldn't answer any questions and the test appli
Avatar n tn Lisinpril can cause a chronic cough and you should stop this medication to see how the cough changes. It may be replaced with valsartan or candesartan which do not usually cause this side effect. The verapamil usually does not cause this side effect. This may not be related to your medications, and chronic cough or ' bronchial asthma' may actually be cardiac in nature ( e.g. CHF). Make sure your physician takes this other consideration into account.
Avatar f tn Look them up on webmd for detailed description. Make sire you have your sic check it out when you go, and maybe see if you can go in early for this if it is really uncomfortable. They are common in general with constipation and with pregnancy for that and other reasons. Tucks and Preparation H will help with the discomfort. Webmd has other suggestions as well. Good luck!
Avatar m tn but i went on webmd and they say some symptoms are....fever,swollen lymp nodes, sore throats, night sweats, confusion...??????? so if your telling me there arent really any symptoms for it then why does webmd state this?
Avatar m tn You can look this up on the web. I just googled and look at WEBMD. According to that site, if it you take too much long term, it can have affects like, constipation, upset stomach and kidney stones. I don't see anything about taking it for a short term. If you are concerned, make sure you drink plenty of water. WEBMD suggests 2000IU per day for an adult.
Avatar f tn I believe you've already asked this on the webmd herpes board. You got an answer there and you won't get a better answer here I can assure you.
481600 tn?1208978175 Try googling it. Or look it up on webmd. That is what I did to find out about the new medicine I am on. You can search medications alphabeticaly on webmd and it will give you lots of good info without too much confusing medical terminology. It is hard to say if it works or not, because just about all medicines work for some people and not for others. It seems to be a trial and error sort of thing. Good luck.
Avatar f tn I just read on webmd that long walks aren't good. Just take short walks.
Avatar f tn My period is 3 days late and today I started having continual sharp pain in my left side that spreads to my uterus. I've looked at WebMD, but nothing I found really sounded like what I have. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Avatar f tn And tylenol, but nothing that says multi symptom. I think webmd has a list.
Avatar f tn No signs of cancer, inflammation or stones. Urologist referral. No known history/trauma. Any thoughts before I WebMD myself in a panic?
Avatar f tn Levaquin a a pretty strong broad spectrum antibiotic. I was told it was effective against staff also, when I had a cut on my leg that wasn't healing. There is an article on webmd about leep and side effects. Type leep in the webmd search engine.
Avatar m tn you also posted this on webmd right?
Avatar f tn You have to go to the web site and log on to your profile. I think is webmd, or helpmd. Then you can download on there and it will apply to your app.
Avatar m tn Some sites (e.g., WebMD, Seattle Children's Hospital) claim that ringworm will stop being contagious after 48 hours of applying a fungicide cream, and then should clear up after 3-4 weeks. Is this 48 hours rule of thumb mostly factual? I have a ringworm infection and put on clotrimazole cream, but am afraid to reinfect myself, or spread it to family members.
Avatar f tn s been hard to find a primary care physician. One asked if I had been on WebMD, treating me like a hypochondriac.
Avatar m tn s a very complicated disease and not easy to describe. I suggest you do internet search on WebMD or emedicine and see if you have any further questions. Starbursts are not a common symptoms in AZOOR and more suggestive of cataracts, cornea problems, need for glasses or new glasses RX or macular problems.
489808 tn?1209049408 Hello.....I hope someone can relate with all of this.....cause I am tired of being sick & tired! First off I guess I'd like to give a little background. Starting in October 2007 my family has been hit with some pretty hard blows. 2 deaths, aunt's cancer came back, my grandma (who practically raised me) was diagnosed with breast cancer (she had a mastectomy & is recovering quite well). I had a miscarriage on 3/9 & had a DNC on 3/11.

20620809 tn?1504362969 com/cold-and-flu/ss/slideshow-doctors-immunity This is a slide show by WebMD and it goes through what doctors do to boost their own immunity. What do you do to boost yours? Do you think any of the doctors suggestions sound good to try?
