A loss of taste side effect from Tekturna is quite common, about a third of users. Maybe your Doctor could try a different medication to see if there are any changes. You need to enjoy your food, and there are plenty of ways/medications to help control blood pressure. You shouldn't need to make such a big sacrifice as not enjoying your meals.
Lisinpril can cause a chronic cough and you should stop this medication to see how the cough changes. It may be replaced with valsartan or candesartan which do not usually cause this side effect. The verapamil usually does not cause this side effect. This may not be related to your medications, and chronic cough or ' bronchial asthma' may actually be cardiac in nature ( e.g. CHF). Make sure your physician takes this other consideration into account.

if you want long term treatment for panic/anxiety klonopin would be your best benzo choice. valium, does work for anxiety but does not have the anti-panic properties of klonopin. i would stay away from the shorter acting benzo's like xanax and ativan. they work and work well for a few months then tolerance becomes an issue, then they stop working after awhile and then withdrawl is tuff. klonopin has a longer half life and is longer acting.
