I'm wondering if it's a side effect that will wear off if I just stick it out. The combination seems to be working well to lower my bp and hr but I'm losing weight (a bad thing) and really, really miss food!

Hello.....I hope someone can relate with all of this.....cause I am tired of being sick & tired! First off I guess I'd like to give a little background. Starting in October 2007 my family has been hit with some pretty hard blows. 2 deaths, aunt's cancer came back, my grandma (who practically raised me) was diagnosed with breast cancer (she had a mastectomy & is recovering quite well). I had a miscarriage on 3/9 & had a DNC on 3/11.

Lisinpril can cause a chronic cough and you should stop this medication to see how the cough changes. It may be replaced with valsartan or candesartan which do not usually cause this side effect. The verapamil usually does not cause this side effect. This may not be related to your medications, and chronic cough or ' bronchial asthma' may actually be cardiac in nature ( e.g. CHF). Make sure your physician takes this other consideration into account.

I was on a med called Azor (also Norvasc) and those pills are known to have that affect. So I switched to a new pill called Tekturna, and it is working well for me. I take it at night, and it seems to minimize the swelling during the day. Be vigilant... it would be terrible for you to be dealing with so many issues that you don't fully understand. The more you learn, the more you can help yourself. I'm still having swelling, but I don't think it's related to the hyst.

Neuro dr tested me a while back. Even took spinal fluid ( that hurt!) but said my only issue is type 1. But I'm terrified I got type 2 now. I should get IGG results tomorrow. I have had a weekend on pain in groin but no sores. Little red spots but they go away in a day. Everything I'm feeling I felt before. The big difference is my back and muscles in and around my pelvic region have been painful more than before. I hoped wearing a condom would help me and the famvir.

I know I am insulin dependent because I cannot take my pump off except for the rare few minutes or so without my sugar sky rocketing. Now would u still call this Type 2 Diabetes or Type 1? Hearing the words Juvenile Diabetes associated with Type 1 throws me off obviously because I was not diagnosed as a juvenile. But also the words Insulin Dependent are associated with the Type 1. The first year metforim helped my numbers and now I am on metformin 2X500mg twice a day and then added two 5mg twice a day of PMS-glyburide and now two weeks ago added APO-pioglitazone 45mg once a day. There is a substantial number of adults who are misdiagnosed Type 2 who are in fact Type 1 or LADA which is a slow onset type 1. Hi, type 2 is more common in the gential area but certainly type 1 can be tramsmitted there from oral sex. However type 2 is much more sever and painful. Its important to find out which you have and how were you diagnosed?

Okay so my blood type is o-negative , I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow and everybody has been telling me that I'm suppose to get a shot twice so that my blood doesn't fight off the babies blood if he has a different type. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Should I call my Dr and ask?

My fiances mom is rh negative, as well as my mom. I've heard horrible rumors that women with this blood type either can't have children, or will have children with disabilities which is obviously not true :) this blood type ain't no Thang ;) just gotta get a shot around 28w, as well as after birth.

They will automatically give you the shot around 28 weeks since babies blood type is unknown. If they Abby has your blood type after delivery you won't need another shot. If baby has positive blood type they will give you the shot. Don't freak yourself out , I'm rh- as well and I'm pregnant with my third healthy babyboy.

You can buy generic insulin and test strips at wallmart for fairly low price, I understand. I presume you do know how to use insulin (and that is what you were on before). Your blood sugar is dangerously high. It could kill you. You need to appeal or do whatever you can. I am not in the US, I don't know how these things work. But this is a medical emergency. You are going to get diabetic ketoacidosis and it will kill you.

They only give you O type blood if they have to because its a neutral blood type and your body wont reject it.
