t smoke, do exercise, am thin). My doctor put me on a diuretic, Tekturna and Bystolic, and within a week I had completely lost my sense of taste! Anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if it's a side effect that will wear off if I just stick it out. The combination seems to be working well to lower my bp and hr but I'm losing weight (a bad thing) and really, really miss food!
Today is two weeks with no pills. I am feeling much much better than I did the first week. I was doing good or so I thought. The stomach issues stopped on Sunday. Then yesterday it hit me again. I don't know why it's doing this. It's making me really upset and makes me think I wont get better. I don't want to have stomach issues anymore. It is the worst for me. My stomach hurts so bad and its so irritating. Can someone help me through this. I just want to feel better.
Two weeks aka 14 days today!! I am such a weirdo I really hate the number 14. I will skip the details since I don't want it to bring me bad luck :) ...And I will embrace the number 14 today since it is 14 wonderful and awesome days without a lil white or yellow or blue or any friggin colored pill! Hot Dog I am rolling. I so can't wait until I get some long time real clean time under my belt but hey 14 days is pretty awesome so far!
Lisinpril can cause a chronic cough and you should stop this medication to see how the cough changes. It may be replaced with valsartan or candesartan which do not usually cause this side effect. The verapamil usually does not cause this side effect. This may not be related to your medications, and chronic cough or ' bronchial asthma' may actually be cardiac in nature ( e.g. CHF). Make sure your physician takes this other consideration into account.

Here it is, a milestone. Two weeks clean and it seems a lifetime ago that I was on day one and dreading the withdrawals. They were rough, but Charlie and Tina hooked up with me right away and helped me through that first tough week. Then others joined in and it has became a support community that I just love and needed! Now the physical is mostly over and the mental begins, but I can say with conviction that I still have NO desire to take a pill.
m two weeks late. I tested a bunch all negative. I haven't tested since Saturday because I'm wasting tests. I had a miscarriage in Oct. Before I found out I was expecting I had sore breasts and unbearable cramps. Right now I only have some slight cramping here and there. I'm scared to go to the doctor because the put me on bc for three months which I finished the end of March. I don't wanna go on it again it's already been 7 months.
m always a few days late for my period but the period before my last I was very late and spotting and had all signs of pregnancy (sore boobs, darker nipples, eating more, tired etc) but did 3 tests and wasnt then finally came on but still there was barely anything and my periods are usually just medium.

I had a call two weeks ago that the MRI I had during my liver transplant evalution showed that I had a tumor in my liver and needed to see the surgeon right away. I saw him the next day and had surgery the next.(halloween!) They did a laparscopic liver resection. My Dr. was one of the few that can do that surgery laprascopically. They said that there was a 70% chance that it was cancer and if they biopsyed it first they could spread it so they just removed it.
