t smoke, do exercise, am thin). My doctor put me on a diuretic, Tekturna and Bystolic, and within a week I had completely lost my sense of taste! Anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if it's a side effect that will wear off if I just stick it out. The combination seems to be working well to lower my bp and hr but I'm losing weight (a bad thing) and really, really miss food!
Lisinpril can cause a chronic cough and you should stop this medication to see how the cough changes. It may be replaced with valsartan or candesartan which do not usually cause this side effect. The verapamil usually does not cause this side effect. This may not be related to your medications, and chronic cough or ' bronchial asthma' may actually be cardiac in nature ( e.g. CHF). Make sure your physician takes this other consideration into account.
Hi! I don't know that Chiari causes tremors, but I can say that I have them. I had them much more so prior to my decompression surgery, but I still get them occasionally now. I did find it odd that it seemed to happen when relaxing, though it also happened when picking up things.
I just started to have tremors in my hands. While my legs are not shaking it feels like they are internally. I have trouble taking pictures because I can not keep the camera steady. The tremor does not go away if I am resting or moving. There is no family history of tremors that I know of. What could be the cause of this new development?
I'm trying to figure out my tremors. I have spaticity in my legs with tremors at times which are even worse when I am carrying my son. I notice that when I'm driving on the freeway and the lane is not smooth my tremors seems to be worse and my legs get tighter. Does anyone notice this. I have read how some have felt they shake in the MRI machine. Can motions as these increase our tremors? Is there a trick to prevent it from happening?
I have tremors also. They actually worsened after surgery. Somedays I wear more of my food than I eat. It sux, but I'm not sure what dxs its caused by????
I was diagnosed with Arnold Chiari in 2000. I had surgery in 2005. I am still suffering from severe headaches. I can't turn my head to the left or right without pain. Two months ago I began experiencing tremors. I'm more than a little worried. I also was diagnosed with an venus angioma of the crebellum that went untreated. The doctor that performed the surgery for the Chiari decided not to touch the angioma, as she had originally said she would.
Should have added that the other major category of tremors is resting tremors. This doesn't necessarily mean that the patient is resting---it means the tremor happens when that part of the body is not trying to move or to do something.
The chief disease involving resting tremors is Parkinson's. Apparently the tremor often looks different too. Some have described it as 'pill-rolling,' where the thumb and forefinger seem to be making little circles.

Since being on synthroid I have been great until december and my new symptom is hand, feet and lip tremors. Is this a sometimes a symptom of thryoid being out of balance. I also have an internal tremor that started at the same time.
t know which is worse, the terrible back pain or the tremors. The tremors are visible and can really drive you crazy. I consulted w/a Neurosurgeon a couple of years ago and was told there is surgery to correct this, but has limitations, i.e., could have a speech slur afterwards. I have been having bad tremors in right arm and head that last for 20 minutes leaving me exhausted and have not found out why this is happening.

I get a fast, small oscillation tremor when I contract my muscles in my arms. It's worse on my right arm, but also present on the left. It seems to get worse when I'm tired, but is present all the time.
I just left my neuroligist and have no clue what he said w/the exception that I have enhanced physicalic tremors. Then he used a slue of words I don't remember since my ADD self did not retain anything. I went in to see if I had essential tremors like my Dad and luckily I do not. So my guestion is, what is this when I put that into search nothing appears. He did a B12 blood test to see if that was it also...
