t smoke, do exercise, am thin). My doctor put me on a diuretic, Tekturna and Bystolic, and within a week I had completely lost my sense of taste! Anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if it's a side effect that will wear off if I just stick it out. The combination seems to be working well to lower my bp and hr but I'm losing weight (a bad thing) and really, really miss food!
There really aren't very many specialists in the area of dysautonomia, I'm afraid.
I was told P.O.T.S. could be hereditary and later learned I have a second cousin who has been diagnosed with the same thing. I've not had any official testing to determine the underlying cause of my autonomic dysfunction. I was diagnosed with P.O.T.S. back in 2004.

Of course, as a Gt 3 I must keep in mind what Hector posted on another site, this week about the study of tx follow-up where out of 863 people 85 relapsed and 83 of those did so before Week 12. Two relapsed AFTER Week 12 and they were both Gt3s.
However I am thanking God for the blessing of SVR 12 and am going to be aware of the possibility, but not stress over it. My Dr has already given me the paperwork for Labs end of May for a June appt.
Well, it's official. I received my diagnosis today. I was getting a EMG and while I was in there my neuro busted in and filled me in. I also have arthritis in my spine. Awesomesauce! :-/ I am supposed to start a 3-5 day IV treatment of steroids and I think they gave me homework? I have a butt load of stuff to read about MS and medications and then in a month I go back for another appointment and decide what I want to take. Why do they all of the meds have to be injectable!?
Like Cheerpul, I wonder if your wife was told she had a BI-RADS Category 5 imaging result, rather than a Stage 5 cancer? (If she was told "Stage 5" this is not part of the official TNM staging classification.)
The official stages for breast cancer are Stages 0 through Stage IV, and each stage and subcategory of the stages has clearly defined features.
Another breast cancer Web site had an article that mentioned Stage V in its title, but not in the article itself.
hi guys I would really appreciated if you guys answer the following questions for me. my first concern is is this site official meaning are you guys actually expert when it comes to std transmission? and my 2nd concern is if two male is engaged in oral sex with one female and male 1 is infected with hiv or other stds and male 2 is not , is it possible to transmit std from the male to the other male from this exposure?
Lisinpril can cause a chronic cough and you should stop this medication to see how the cough changes. It may be replaced with valsartan or candesartan which do not usually cause this side effect. The verapamil usually does not cause this side effect. This may not be related to your medications, and chronic cough or ' bronchial asthma' may actually be cardiac in nature ( e.g. CHF). Make sure your physician takes this other consideration into account.
Make sure you use lube and go slow! Listen to your body and go at the pace it is comfortable for you. It is even safer if you use a condom. It is safe.
I have my official blood testing after 2 days - on 10th Sep. I am really going thru depression and frustration as I am seeing some brownish/pinkish blood (only when i wipe) along with cramps sometimes. I also noticed minor clots.
I then rung the clinic and explained the situation. They straight forward said that it might be an unsuccessful IVF cycle and I may experience full period like bleeding in next 2-3 days. I am taking two progesterone tablets three times a day.
