GP has not done blood testing had many blood rtests in May for the anklyosing spondilities but he is not bothered with that, he is more interested in the blood pressure readings, tody all l do is sleep and throat is so achy

Went to the hospital to get checked out for preeclampsia yet again, checked my blood pressure, urine for protein, and had a cuff on my arm that would check my blood pressure every ten mins and everything was just fine. We work ourselves up, I know I definitely do. Your feet can swell up from so many different things. They pretty much told me to just take it easy and stop being on my feet so much. Good luck!

Previously my pregnancy I was taking medication for High blood pressure. It was Chortalidone which is a diuretic. I was taking that before and during the first four weeks of my pregnancy , until My gyn told me not to take it during my pregnancy. As far as living a healthy lifestyle I've got it. I haven't been able to exercise as much as I wanted while I was incredibly fatigued, but I'm picking that back up. The thing is that for nearly a year I've had blood pressure that is all over the place. I think it was 140/105 at the dentist on Thursday. It's got to be secondary in nature. I'm 26, eat incredibly healthy, have good weight and BMI (I'm a size 2 or 4). I can't go on blood pressure meds.

A prescription for Lisinorpil is a good start, but her doctor really needs to be working her up to find an underlying cause and resolving that issue. I could be idiopathic meaning there is no cause, but she should be checked. She should be on the DASH diet and exercising to bring her levels down, with her doctor's approval. Having said that, it could have been high due to anxiety as well.

They help curve my nausea too. Ive never had high blood pressure from too much salt however in my past pregnancies(like in last trimester)if i ate them too often my feet would swell up pretty good. At this point its hard for me to ignore cravings. Sometimes your body craves what you need but just try to eat whatever it is in moderation.

Tully you said you take meds,is this for the high blood pressure? They have gave me no meds for mine im just on the synthroid for thyroid. So now I'm wondering if i should be on something for it. Or does it need to be higher before they feel you need meds? Mine was 149/98 yesterday.

hi, i wanted to ask how do you control high blood pressure that you get only when your stressed. i have heart pac had a big massive of them the other night , i dont go to hospitals but did friday night for the pac to make sure thats all they were . when i got there my blood pressure was 203/103 from waiting the 5 1/2 hours to see if they would stop, which took them 10 hours to go away.
