Tekturna dizziness

Common Questions and Answers about Tekturna dizziness

tekturna

Avatar n tn t smoke, do exercise, am thin). My doctor put me on a diuretic, Tekturna and Bystolic, and within a week I had completely lost my sense of taste! Anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if it's a side effect that will wear off if I just stick it out. The combination seems to be working well to lower my bp and hr but I'm losing weight (a bad thing) and really, really miss food!
Avatar n tn Lisinpril can cause a chronic cough and you should stop this medication to see how the cough changes. It may be replaced with valsartan or candesartan which do not usually cause this side effect. The verapamil usually does not cause this side effect. This may not be related to your medications, and chronic cough or ' bronchial asthma' may actually be cardiac in nature ( e.g. CHF). Make sure your physician takes this other consideration into account.
489808 tn?1209049408 Hello.....I hope someone can relate with all of this.....cause I am tired of being sick & tired! First off I guess I'd like to give a little background. Starting in October 2007 my family has been hit with some pretty hard blows. 2 deaths, aunt's cancer came back, my grandma (who practically raised me) was diagnosed with breast cancer (she had a mastectomy & is recovering quite well). I had a miscarriage on 3/9 & had a DNC on 3/11.
483733 tn?1326798446 I was on a med called Azor (also Norvasc) and those pills are known to have that affect. So I switched to a new pill called Tekturna, and it is working well for me. I take it at night, and it seems to minimize the swelling during the day. Be vigilant... it would be terrible for you to be dealing with so many issues that you don't fully understand. The more you learn, the more you can help yourself. I'm still having swelling, but I don't think it's related to the hyst.
2080451 tn?1347232420 Anyone else experience dizziness? Im 15 weeks tomorrow and the past few days ive had dizziness. It usually happens when im sitting or laying down and comes and goes regardless of my blood sugars. At first i thought it was my blood sugars dropping but even eating food doesnt take it away...any ideas? Dont want to call the doc unless i necessarily have to.
Avatar n tn He sent me to clinic that specializes in balance and dizziness. I had VNG (Videoelectronystagmography) and CDP (Computerized Dynamic Posturography) tests done and was told I have inner ear damage which could have been the result of a stroke I had five years ago. Dizziness can have a lot of causes. It might help you to look at the web site of my therapist, www.nomorevertigo.com.
Avatar f tn Does anyone know why we get dizzy with chiari? I have been doing so well with little dizziness. I don't know if I exhausted myself this weekwnd and that's why its back full force. So bummed because I was actually feeling somewhat normal for a while. I wasn't even moving last night when out of nowhere my head felt weird for about 3 seconds. Now today having episodic dizziness and funny feeling in head. Ugh! Disappointed and frustrated but who isn't with chiari.
Avatar f tn Dizziness is common throughout pregnancy. Because of the blood being directed to the placenta, the blood getting back to mom isn't top priority any more. I had it bad until about 14 weeks. But continue drinking water in case you're dehydrated and make sure you blood sugar isn't low so eat something when you feel that way. But if it's none of those things it's just the blood flow. It stinks.
Avatar f tn Oh yes. I'm almost 23 weeks and the dizziness started a week or so ago. Doctor said its very common at this stage. He's checking my blood levels to be safe but he says its usually due to the blood pressure or hormones. Told be to eat more often. Hope you start feeling better soon.
Avatar m tn Also, when you get up from sitting or floor this causes a temporary drop in blood pressure - dizziness is the result of low blood pressure. Drink more water, keep your blood pressure normal. you are good to go.
Avatar f tn When I went to the Dr yesterday they asked the.normal do you have sickness dizziness etc and I let them know I did. But she didn't mention anything so I was wondering if anyone else gets this?
Avatar f tn I'm 34 weeks and keep experiencing dizziness to the point I almost fall is this normal?
Avatar f tn ive found laying on my left side eases my dizziness. Dont know why but it does. You're so lucky!!!
Avatar f tn Same here- head dizziness what was caused by low iron levels. Now taking pills and everythings ok!
Avatar f tn Stay hydrated and eat frequently
Avatar n tn it affected his left eye vision, hearing, and he continued to have dizziness and balance issues even after a recent MRI showed no changes ... has been to a nuerologist who said he could give him something for headach but nothing can be done about dizziness ... He takes 75mg of plavix before going to bed. He has heart issues .. stents implanted couple times /// he can deal with all of that ...but the continued dizzness is very stressful ... do we need to change doctors and go out of our area .
Avatar f tn Yes, I'm 7 weeks along and I get very dizzy sometimes. I'm on my feet all day at work and the dizziness hits especially hard then. I've asked about it and docs have told me it's common with your body working overtime and all the hormones and changes and whatnot.
