Avatar m tn The Triamcinolone cream, actually would potentially make that worse. Tacrolimus is more for an eczema rash- so it might be that you need to be checked for a fungal infection instead. Head back to the doctor, and let them know that it's not working- hope you feel better soon!
Avatar f tn The following medicines may increase the level of tacrolimus in the blood, which could increase the risk of side effects.
Avatar f tn Hello, About a month ago I noticed red bumps on the side of my scrotum and they also started to appear in my inner thigh as well. I used hydrocortisone cream and it the bumps seemed to get better but what I'm left with now is my entire scrotum and penis are red and a bit sensitive to touch. It's not alot of pain and no itching at all and I have no raised bumps or rash. The skin has just turned red.
Avatar n tn Not so sure about tacrolimus. Look at the law offices looking for people treated with tacrolimus creams. Still some concern out there about serious side effects. Don't forsee approval anytime soon in U.S. As a side note, have your doctor look for demodex follicularis. Some research indicates that they can worsen lid margin disease.
Avatar f tn Too low, and immune rejection is a problem. Too high, and toxic side effects occur. Only your transplant team can tell you what is the correct level. Hope you are doing well.

Avatar n tn I got the same problem I have to go tomorrow to see the doctor but so far it seems that furoate mometasone causes a lot of side effects and skin reactions. I stopped it for 3 weeks already and my skin still looks like s**t but the doctor told DO NOT USE it!
Avatar m tn re gonna have to go see the doc. You could always try an antifungal cream of some kind but why mess with it. Schedule an appointment with a dermatologist. They should pretty much know. It doesn't appear to be an STD but I certainly am not an expert.
Avatar m tn Lichen sclerosus is a chronic disease which effects usually the genital areas. The exact cause is not known and can be too active immune system and hormone problems. Some people have also proposed a genetic and hereditary basis of disease. Treatment consists of strong cortisone cream or ointment on the skin. Other treatment options include Retinoids, vitamin A-like drugs, Tacrolimus ointment and Ultraviolet light treatment.
Avatar m tn Its got really worse when i got a really severe sunburn on my cheeks and nose because i forgot to wash of the cream when i went to the beach. I stopped using the cream and some redness went away but is my skin permanently damaged..is there any way to reverse it...
Avatar m tn I don't see any reason you can't tell me how much you take/have taken. That's not medical advice.
Avatar f tn ve tried petroleum jelly, lotion, hydrocortisone, and a anti-itch cream, but nothing is making it go away! ALL my life I've had pretty oily skin, but in the last few months its almost completely dried up. I've stopped using my scrub cleanser on my face, because I figured that kept rubbing away new skin growth in that area. That didn't work, so I stopped using my "zit" cream I've used for years, that hasn't helped...
Avatar f tn It is not unusual for individuals to have side effects when they begin using a retinol product. Most manufacturers recommend beginning with 2 applications a week for the first week or so depending on how your skin reacts. After that you can increase to every other night and then to every night as your skin adjusts. I have used several products with retinol and this has always been the case for me. I do not have sensitive skin.
Avatar n tn He is afraid to ask his doctor, and I am afraid to get him into trouble. Im also afraid of the side effects being deadly as a result of our fears of asking trained professionals. ...

Avatar m tn If it is non itchy then vitiligo and lichen sclerosis needs to be ruled out. Lichen sclerosus is a chronic disease which effects usually the genital areas. Avatar n tn Treatment is by topical steroids or oral therapy of corticosteroids in severe cases. Topical creams like tacrolimus ointment (Protopic) and pimecrolimus cream (Elidel) are also useful. If still the symptoms do not improve then please get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
Avatar m tn Hello, AF 750 is an oral antifungal drug and should always be taken under prescription because it has plenty of side effects. Also tacrolimus is an immunosuppressant drug and should always be used under medical guidance. Please use these drugs only after consulting your doctor. Till then clean the foreskin thoroughly and you can use Neosproin. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar n tn Welcome back to the forum. I have no personal experience with sinechatechins (Veregen); we don't use it in my STD clinic. The reports in the medical literature indicate it works no faster and no better (and no worse) than other genital wart treatments. All available wart treatments work well about two thirds of the time and none is significantly better than any others. If one treatment doesn't promptly clear up the warts, we switch to another.
Avatar m tn Hello, It looks like hypopigmented patches as a result of side effect of the steroid cream. It is very difficult to treat but sometimes it goes away on its own after exposure to the sun. Creams like Elidel cream or Protropic can be used on these hypopigmented areas but they should be used only after consulting a dermatologist . If the symptoms still persist then you can talk to your dermatologist about laser-assisted chemabrasion(LACA).
