Avatar m tn Are there any health risks from taking herbal supplements like Zenerx or Magna RX Plus for long periods of time? (in years?) (I just noticed that many of the ingredients are thought to raise testosterone levels).
535822 tn?1443976780 In complement to vitamins B complex you should consider Spirulina, black Cohosh and siberian ginseng ( if you really want the best thing on the market that contains not only spirulina but many other superfoods go for Green+ powder or SuperFood RX, I do take Green+ and the results are amazing and 3 tea spoon is basically like taking 6 green salad portions. Black Cohosh will help to balance your estrogen level. Physical activity is highly recommended to balance your homones.
1140169 tn?1370185076 Vitamin D comes in both Rx and OTC varieties. The single ingredient supplement found OTC is D3-cholecalciferol-and the comparable Rx supplement is D2-ergocalciferol. No matter which OTC brand you may choose, it will always be D3. This is also the compound for which our cells have a greater affinity, therefore we can take lower doses to raise our 25(OH)D levels. D3 is naturally derived from animal sources, while D2 is a synthetic analog.

Avatar m tn My second question relates to the herbs arjuna, harjor, vana tulsi and amalki, which are the ingredients in the Organic India capsule "Lipid Care". I have experienced vivid dreams on taking it, though otherwise it seems to be effective in lessening my tachycardia episodes and improving shortness of breath. Has anyone had any experience with these herbs?
Avatar f tn I have a mostly healthy diet with a day or two in the month where I eat junk, like popcorn and apple pie with ice cream I recently started mixing Amazing Grass Superfoods and Wheat grass in my morning smoothies. My smoothies include a helping of berries: blue, black, and strawberries with banana and grape juice. Not sure if the superfoods have causes this grainy stool, but I am concerned since it lasts for a couple of days.
Avatar m tn Trimix as you may have realized is a Rx Formulary which has several variations on the mix of three ingredients which the Urologist prescribes. The prescription is in vial of usually 10 CC and is injected in the side of the penis shaft. Syringe is usually 1/2" 30 gauge, with initial dose of .15cc. A powder form/fluid and mixed within inhector, is available yet not commonly prescribed and that is injected into the uretha.
Avatar n tn One common cause would be a mild yeast imbalance. You should probably go to the doc and be checked for yeast. Diflucan is a very effective tablet by Rx. Or take Azo-Yeast, 2 pills a day while reducing dietary sugar and carbs and increasing vegetables. Use a very mild soap, like unscented Dove. You could use a topical yeast medicine, but they have ingredients that irritate a lot of women.

Avatar f tn Both Levoxyl and Synthroid are listed as separate brands. If you go to good RX it does not list a generic for Levoxyl. Synthroid of course is levothyroxin as it’s generic. There Hass to be a difference between the two drugs, I was told to get off the medication and have awful insomnia when I was trying to switch between the two and had a dose increase and I’m highly sensitive to medications in general.
8469365 tn?1398388053 The seizures are due to neurological damage which was brought on by vaccinations. Several of the ingredients in vaccines are very potent neurotoxins & carcinogens. You should target healing the brain damage via organic CBD oil for dogs or perhaps concentrated Yucca extract. You can halt vaccines (they're poison & completely ineffective) and get rabies state exemption forms from a holistic or integrative veterinarian near you.
Avatar n tn First, start by asking the pharmacist if ALL meds have these ingredients. They usually know more than anyone else. If not, there are many other medications that you could try. I would get a list of ones that your doctor will consider, then ask a pharmacist if the meds have those substances that you can't tolerate. Or maybe you can call manufacturers to get the info.

216278 tn?1308861082 So, now I'm a little nervous. I was just looking at the empty bottle of my "prenatal" vitamins to make sure I get the same ingredients, percentages, etc. in the next bottle (in case they don't have the same brand) and I realized that it's not a prenatal, but a women's plus multi-vitamin and it has a concoction of **** in it, including **** quai and red clover.
8573748 tn?1398993081 I've been taking Rainbow Light Complete Prenatal System since a month before I got pregnant & I really love them. Have never been sick once from them. They're made from food based nutrition & superfoods so they're very gentle on the tummy. They promote healthy brain, eyes, nerves, Boone, teeth, & blood. I totally recommend checking them out online or just giving them a try. I also take Nordic Naturals Prenatal DHA twice a day. For me, the two are a perfect combo.
Avatar f tn uses Similac but they will do other ones with a Drs RX. I started with enfamil with my first when breastfeeding failed me and then WIC put me on the orange labeled similac which is the normal one. Basically just ask the nursery nurses at the hospital what they use, start with that and then consult your pediatrician to see what they suggest.
Avatar n tn To keep costs down ask for human type antibiotics and antifungals and get a written Rx so you can price shop the pills yourself. Call around and don't forget wholesale clubs like costco don't require a membership to fill a Rx. I would also ditch the oatmeal shampoo and get a good one online like chlorhexiderm, hexadene, malaseb, ketochlor etc. These have antibacterial properties and some antifungal too.
