Avatar f tn I have a mostly healthy diet with a day or two in the month where I eat junk, like popcorn and apple pie with ice cream I recently started mixing Amazing Grass Superfoods and Wheat grass in my morning smoothies. My smoothies include a helping of berries: blue, black, and strawberries with banana and grape juice. Not sure if the superfoods have causes this grainy stool, but I am concerned since it lasts for a couple of days.

Avatar f tn Processed foods, pesticides etc are a good reason why most of the people have a lack of nutriments and vitamins/minerals therefore this is why i strongly suggest vitamins/minerals and superfoods supplements. Superfoods are foods that contain high amount of nutriments, vitamins and minerals and have antioxidant and many more proprieties. You must know that there are also natural anti-anxiety remedies and supplements available.
Avatar f tn Not all fish have a high level of mercury. If your doc didn't give you a list, Google it and it will say what fish to absolutely avoid and which is okay and couple times a week. It's not good to just avoid all fish because they are so rich in nutrients that are also good for baby.

Avatar n tn Your OB/Midwife should be able to give you a short list of foods not recommended to eat during pregnancy, raw fish. Uncooked lunch meat. Etc. That could potentially hurt the baby. I promise Siracha is not on that list (thank goodness)!

Avatar f tn They aren't old wives tales because Listeria is a real possibility, however it is very rare.y Dr told me I could eat lunch meat every now and then and that it'd most likely be okay as long as I wasn't eating it for breakfast lunch and dinner everyday. Just like anything else, the greater the exposure the greater the risk.

Avatar n tn I also agree that a good diet is a must, not just for us but for everyone. I take in a gel cap form.....4,000 IU vit D......vit C & E.....Flax Oil......Milk Thistle. For some reason it seems to me that a gel cap will disolve before it gets flushed. I also take calcium 2x (hysterectomy at 40).....magnesium......acidophollis......B complex......red rice yeast Disclaimer.....this is what I, MYSELF, ME take. I am not recommending my regimen but it is what I take.
