Avatar f tn Not sure if the superfoods have causes this grainy stool, but I am concerned since it lasts for a couple of days. I have opted to skip a few days between the smoothies to see if there is a difference in my stool and yes, today, that are somewhat (minor) more consistent and compacted. HELP. Should I be worried?

Avatar f tn Hi ask your doctor for Metformin if you're not already on that. It slows down a lot of the symptoms of PCOS. Other Than that, I'm not aware of any other medical aspects that will help. I'm sure some ladies on here may be aware of some others if there are any. Good Luck!!

Avatar f tn She has managed to have one healthy pregnancy since then and is expecting another next month. Your wife needs to see her doctor for frequent monitoring. Listen to what the doctor says. The good thing is they know she is high risk now so the chance of having a repeat of last time is not as high. Help her relax and get lots of rest. Make sure she eats properly and takes her prenatals.
Avatar f tn And dont worry about it either bc stress isnt good for either of you. But if it does happen, it is not your fault and nither were the other ones.

Avatar n tn I do agree with nygirl and Trinty that a good diet and exercise and no alcohol or drugs is vital. I would also go further and say that no chemicals of any kind should touch your skin. I use only natural lotions and hair products and soaps because everything your skin touches becomes absorbed into the body and eventually ends up in our liver. Also, I never eat produce from other countries because of the high levels of pesticides.
Avatar m tn I received a results letter from my the doctor yesterday to say “your PSA has risen ever so slightly to 1.0 it was 0.5 in 2010, in 2008 it was 0.8, so I will recall this in 6 months to see if this is a fluctuation or a trend”. This got me thinking so I turned to Google as you do and scared myself silly now I am worried and not sure what to do if anything. Perhaps I am worried about nothing. But how come I have any psa at all if I haven’t got a prostate?

Avatar m tn Things for anxiety slow you down. Things for energy sometimes speed you up, increasing anxiety. Ashwagandha is usually a good choice. Eleuthero is often a good choice -- I take both. Perhaps you just need time to get used to it. I've never heard of Organic India, so I can't comment on the company. I would have bought it from Planetary Herbals just because it's an old herb company owned by herbalists who started before this became big business. I trust them.
Avatar f tn Since the above poster did not bother to address the main concerns of either of you, I can tell you that heart rates can, indeed, reach pretty scary rates during a panic attack. Normal heart rates range between 60-100 bpm (beats per minute) I don't know if anyone has kept records of what the highest rate has been. And as with so many other things that are highly individualized, what our own heart rates climb to during an attack will vary. There is no "norm" in other words.
Avatar f tn Hi marie, I have been on antidepressants for a long time and I do know thAt you should always report your side effects to the doctor. He can help you decide if they are worth taking that medicine or you need to switch to another. There are quite a few different medications for depression now with few side effects. Sometimes smaller side effects like dizziness will go away after your body becomes accustomed to the med.
Avatar n tn There are a number of effective treatments available for this. Have this evaluated by your doctor for proper management. Direct clinical examination is important. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar n tn The arguments are that it is good for you because you have to drink so much water your skin becomes hydrated, and secondly because you are sweating for an hour and a half your skin sweats out all of the toxins creating hydrated, clear skin. However, wouldn't being in a room that hot doing exercise for that long cause broken blood vessels? Could it in any way be bad for your skin? Thank you very much.
397118 tn?1219762250 Hi Galdy, I would try the amino acids. I don't know how long it takes for the Lexapro to leave your body. But in the meantime exercise, eat right and take regular vitamims. Hopefully someone can tell you so you can take some of the stuff that can't be used with anti depressants. Good luck it will get better!
Avatar f tn Still emotional and easily irritated, still tired a lot, still eating way too much (I also have a craving for sweets), belly growing constantly, oh and skin is NOT glowing - is looks worse than ever. The only thing that is different is I now get headaches, gums are sensitive and I have horrible nasal issues. LOL. But seriously, I'm not complaining. :) I know it's all worth it and although it sounds like I should be miserable...I love being pregnant. Go figure.
535822 tn?1443976780 At night you can try coconut oil or olive oil, but it's a bit heavy for day time use. These still allow your skin to breathe much better than the petroleum jelly will. If you're prone to acne, ditch the Vaseline for sure. If you only use the coconut oil for your skin at night and it doesn't bother your skin, still only apply lightly. The coconut oil at the discount supplement store that is used to cook with is the same one you would use for skin and hair applications.
