You should discuss your concerns with the eye doctor that ordered the test. A visual field test is not part of a routine exam for a 23 year old.

Of course i had the ct with my heart at rest before the stress test and then after the stress test... But am wondering what you would think is possibly going on. My maternal grandfather died because his heart actually exploded and my father himself has had bypass surgery... so there is a hitory in our family all my sibling's take meds for high blood pressure and one sister takes heart medication already ... Hi, we'll I had my stress test done, just the exercise one with no dye or pictures, I ran it about 7 mins got my heart to 104 percent, could of keep going if I needed to, had no chest pains, or sob. They said you passed sent me on my way. Good news My question is , without pics how much can they tell about the heart, if I had a blockage would it had shown up? Should I feel good about my heart? ok I have had the stress test for abnormal EKG, I passed this test with flying colors but have not yet heard the results. Would this be a good thing?

I have had two sets of chest xrays done and they show nothing as well. I went in for a stress test and it appeared to be "abnormal". I went in for an angiogram and the doctor assures me that my heart is in excellent shape except for a very small blockage. I continue to have the tightness in my chest and the feeling of being flush. I have a blood pressure of 100 over 60 and a pulse of 72. I have had no other problems in the past. I am at a loss as to where to go next.

If and when you have any discomfort or the monitor indicates unacceptable parameters the test will be discontinued. I never got to any running phase with my stress test. The test was discontinued after 7 minutes...normally the test may go as long as 15 minutes or so when there isn't any problem..

I have A Fib and I could not do the stress test with the treadmill so the doctor wants to give me an injection (dobuytamine hcl/250 and sestamibi(2) in order to race my heart to get it up to a certain speed and I am concerned since I have the A. Fib and take medication for it (Diltazam). Is it dangerous for me to have the test??

Did you have a stress test with imaging? If so these things are about 97% accurate in finding heart disease. The next test would be an angiogram which carries a very real risk of complication and I doubt anyone would do one without additional symptoms. You may be best served by getting a second opinion.

and in Sept I had an exercise stress test. When I went to have the stress test preformed, the doctor did not place the cuff on correctly. It get slipping and they kept having a problem getting it to work. During the test I felt fine. But the test kept taking the incorrect blood pressure measurements and over halfway through it , they stopped the test.. That was in Sept.

for pre-testing for ablation scan showed alot of structual damage to the heart and my mitral valve has adhered to the back of my haert so they scrapped the ablation procedure because they said it wouldn`t improve my condition.My EF is 13-15 percent and my vo2 stress test came back with 14. Do you feel that I should be put on a transplant list if I qualify ?
