m now 32+3 weeks and been so stressed because his dad promised to send some money for groceries for him ( he is on their food stamps and gets 674 dollars in disability) well no money has come and we have had to spend so much money on him and skipped two major bills this month to get extra groceries and make sure he had a good birthday. Well today my hubby text me and said his check was almost 300 dollars extra for money his job has owed him since last year!!!
Im 16 weeks pregnant. My stress is at an all time now between work, school, family issues and trying to make sure my baby's okay. I just need some stress relief techniques i've tried walking, talking to friends but none of its working it just leads to me feeling depressed for some time. Mind you i've picked up on my bad habit of smoking cigarettes but not a whole cig or not that often but it makes me feel like crap so I need something else beside the just breathe technique.
I went to the Dr and they put me on Allegra and Flonase since they think that I have allergies and I can feel mucus going down my throat and since I have a hyper active gag reflex that its making me want to gag. I have been on the medicine for almost a week now and I notice no difference and I see feel like gagging all the time! The only thing that makes me feel better is having a piece of hard candy in my mouth. I was also put on acid reflux medicine a while back b/c the Dr.
I looked into them and they are all just gag gifts. Decided during manufacture.
Does anyone here have a problem with if you smell something bad it makes you gag, or even just the thought of a bad smell makes you gag and almost vomit?.
This is crazy to me because where I used to work, I used to deal with bigger and badder smells ie.) changing adult attends, toileting consumers that were unable to do it themselves, and other things that were not very pleasant to say the least.
When I was in college I was in a long distance relationship that brought on a lot of stress. I took 20 mg of Celexa and within a month or so I had some relief. I took the medication for about 3 years but quit because I thought I was gaining weight on it. That was 6 years ago.
About six weeks ago my longterm boyfriend (4 years) decided he wanted to take a break to figure things out. My grandmother passed away and my partner at work left. All of this happened during the same 3 weeks.
It took over 2 years for my gag reflex to return after decompression. I never got any total complete relief from suregrry but within the last 6 months or so have been going downhill.
Aside from the daily headaches, the migraines have been intense and continuous. Yesterday I had what I call a chiari fit where it looks as though I’m having a seizure but I’m not. Happened all the time before surgery and this was the first time since.
I vomit a lot and think the PND is the cause of some of it. Terrible gag reflex too. No infections thankfully since surgery but this non-stop drip is driving me nuts.
I had nausea (but no vomiting), loss of appetite (I would gag when I was eating), and a rumbling and gurgling in my stomach like something is in my stomach. This felt like the stomach flu almost but I didn't have any diarrhea. Sitting up seemed to help. The only symptom I still have now is is the gurgling and weird feelings in my stomach in my mid abdomen most of the time, some days a tender stomach, and some days pain under my bottom left rib.
s not that bad when i eat but i feel like i have got to drink every 2 seconds or i will gag. It is so annoying, i just want it to go away!
i didnt know it could last forever, seeing all you's saying your had it for years. looks like i will be sleeping with a bucket tonight! i am supposed to be going out tomorrow night for Nandos with my best mate!
We just want 2 b prepared. But its just extra stress we dont need. From what u said its really just the car seat u should b looking into n thats it. Everything else will work out. Dont freak out tho! Unnecessary stress girl!!!
Pressing on the joints on each side of my jaw temporarily relief the incoming gag reflex, but is not a permanent solution.
The muscles of my neck (back and front) are always from mildly to extremely tense. My larynx too. I was in great pain for weeks when I started the part-time job, even on my days off.
My upper back and shoulders are tense too, and I’ve had pain coming up from under one shoulder blade to my ear (it’s not going that high anymore now, but it’s not gone either).
We will get our big brother to be some small gift from his sister. I am due june 25th and at the beginning of the month we plan on taking our son out for the day and making it all about him...
