I am 24 weeks and I'm having stomach pains like some1 with a running stomach, and for the past 2 week's l was passing out dark stools, l didnt change my diet, is it normal
I still worry that the impact on my stomach from the accident could have cause some type of bowel obstruction, or something more serious than just having a sensitive stomach. After about 3 days and taking a stool softener, I was able to have a BM. It was so painful, not like any pains I have had in the past, almost unbearable and I thought about going back to the hospital. What I noticed I passed was a very pale-whiteish pulpy-like look (almost a little stringy) with little blood.
ve continues stool passing problem, like every 5 to 10 min after meal and after every hour. i even notice blood in a little amount with mucus. Few months back due to food poisoning i consulted a doctor an told him about my problem, he took my stool and urine plus blood test. and develop that i've some blood and pus cell traces in my stool with bacteria, also my blood report the TLC was high. he recommended me some medicine and antibiotics yet after the treatment i'm still same no change.
The past few months I've had more and more lower stomach cramps\pains. Its right at the belt line, sensitive to touch also. I've noticed if I go without eating I don't have any stomach issues or pains, I was recently on omeprezole for supposed stomach acid, which did nothing. I continue to have pain and have now stopped taking it.
My stool has gone from regular solid to now waking up in the morning and 45 minutes in running to the bathroom hoping I don't miss the toilet.
d have some blood in the stool, not necessary seen with a naked eye, but with a (1) hemoccult stool test. Another test you might want to have is a (2) breath test for H. pylori - this causes ulcers and heart burn. (3) X-ray with barium (also called upper GI) may show ulcerations in duodenum or further in the small intestine. (4) Capsule endoscopy would clearly show any inflammation or ulcers.
You can have tests one after one. I think you should confirm/rule out this duodenal ulcer first.
Green stool is sometimes caused because your passing the stool too quickly and its not getting enough time to change color(To the normal brown) spasms will cause stool to move quicker than normal and to come out green. You can have stool move really fast and not be diarrhea.
What you have is very common with IBS-A or also known as spastic colon. An ultrasound will detect if you have any blocked ducts that are creating the green stool, but I bet that will come back negative.
Has your son seen a pediatric gastroenteroloogist? If not this is who he needs to see ASAP. IBS can give you a feeling of having to have a BM but you really don't, and can spend a lot of time trying. It can also cause gas pains. Children can develop a ulcer and this may be what is wrong with your son. Giving him Maalox is putting a bandaid on the problem, and you want to know what the probblem is. My son had one at 12, it devestated me because I thought an ulcer at 12!
I sat there for a minut and starting passing a stool. I suddenly got light headed, started sweating and vomited everywhere. I vomited until every last morsel of food was gone. Then pooped so much it filled my entire toilet. I woke back up at like four o clock in the morning with stomach cramps and muscle crams so bad I had to take a pain pill to help me get confortable .I am currently still in pain it is now almost 7am. Please tell me what this could possible be.

It would be best to have yourself examined by a doctor. After a bout of constipation, it is possible that the lining of the rectum/anus can be injured causing some swelling and pain. But since the problem seems to be persistent, then it would be reasonable to consider that there may be something that is blocking or making passing the stool difficult.
I had a c section monday and its thursday and i havent had a bm yet. they gave me a stool softener yesterday and its tmi but all i been doing is passing alot of gas. since i had a c section it hurts in my belly when i get cramping gas pains but they assured me it woukd hurt a little bit but if u take pains meds about 30-45 mins before it wont hurt as bad.

These include narrower stools, mucus in stool, difficulty passing stool, burping more, passing gas more, abdominal pain, sometimes burning pain in my stomach and chest area, having far less bowel movements where I actually pass stool(usually about three) but now I have only one everyday in the morning, and feeling like I have to go the bathroom, but not actually passing any stool. My stools are just about every time narrower, but sometimes i'll have normal sized ones.
and then this morning it was just horrible along with the sharp abdominal pain things i ate after my stool last night was a slice of chocolate cake , cup of tea, 2X 340ML of jack daniels and coke and thats it.... i RARELY drink as well...and i dont smoke anyone know of this cause also my stool thing morning was diarrhea and after passing it my stomach doesn't hurt anymore...but it still feels uneasy..

Hi...I'm a 37 yr old woman. For the past week there has been blood in my stool consistently. I know I have hemorrhoids (internal and external) and I've had blood in my stool before because of it. But it has never been consistent and not this long. My bowel movements haven't been particularly hard and I have had no constipation. I had a colonoscopy 10 yrs ago that came back normal (besides the hemorrhoid). I do have a family history of colon cancer.
I have had five in three weeks. They are almost always at night after I have been asleep for a couple of hours. I wake up having lower abdomenal cramping, then I feel an extreme heat come over my whole body. Sweat pours off my body and I become pail in color. I am so hot that my husband says he can feel the heat coming off of me.
I am a 36 year old female. I was diagnosed with constipation predominant IBS 6 years ago. I take vyvance daily for ADD and this stimulates daily bowel movements. If I don't take it, I become backed up for two or three days. I've also been having stomach pains and have the beginnings of an ulcer according to my pcp. I have passed mucus with blood in the past year and recently have been passing large amounts of mucus with no blood for the past three days. Lots of gas and bloating.
