Avatar n tn Where are the pains exactly? I'm having intense stomach pains from the top of my naval to the top of my stomach and they are refrerring it to GERD (Acid Reflux Disease). I'd go see your GI and see if they can do an upper endoscopy on you. I'm going in on the 3rd to for one to see if I have GERD or a peptic ulcer. Drink a lot of water and a very bland diet (toast with peanut butter).
Avatar f tn The reverse flow of contents of the stomach cause a series of neurochemical transmissions, which cause nausea and dizziness. Normal GERD and stomach ulcer will not cause nausea if under control. However a person with severe uncontrolled acidity or when such a person is hungry or his stomach is empty except for the acid, he may feel nauseous. Also presence of an ulcer in the stomach or weak esophageal sphincter or the medcines you have been taking can complicate matter.
Avatar f tn Ginger ale helps as well as crackers. Always try and keep something on your stomach eat small snacks throughout the day. Also before you get out of bed eat some crackers or something and if you are taking your prenatals in the morning try taking them at night. I hope this helps I had morning sickness from week 7-13.

Avatar m tn My daughter has been suffering with nausea and stomach pain for four months. Our family doctor and two gastroenterologists have been unable to diagnose the problem. The pain is located directly below her ribs in the center. She has not lower abdomen problems or unusual bowel movements. (regular, normal) She has had blood work done twice, H.pylori, celiac, ect. all came back normal. She had an endoscopy of her stomach, with a biopsy, all normal.
Avatar f tn My daughter has been suffering with stomach pain and nausea for a couple months, eating doesn't help it usually makes it worse. After she eats she usually feels like she is going to get sick but hasn't yet. She has bouts of dizziness associated with the nausea at times which includes blurry vision sometimes. Our family doctor have been unable to diagnose the problem. Doctors thought it was Acid Reflex however Pryloc(?) made her systems worse.
Avatar f tn I also have nausea, dizziness, migraines and stomach pain. My nausea, dizziness and migraines are constant, but the stomach pain is intermittent. I was diagnosed with pots 2 months ago and also take fludrocortisone. I've had the same experience with ineffective nausea mediicne and migraine medicine. Even iv infusions fail to provide me with relief. The only main difference is I had my gall bladder removed in July 08 and remnants and gall stones removed last May.
Avatar f tn Nausea with dizziness, stomach protruding, neck pain, weak, and cold legs and hands. Any idea?
Avatar m tn My family doctor put me on Nexium which helped my stomach pains but did not remove the dizziness or nausea. After a month or so the dizziness reduced but the nausea still remained. For the next 1.5 years and a bit I tried to get off nexium but had rebound acid reflux attacks along with minor dizziness and nausea. Went to a gastro specialist who performed an gastro scope and colonoscopy and found nothing. Finally got off nexium by using raw honey to heal my stomach.
Avatar n tn If you use computer a lot or read a lot then the symptoms of headache, dizziness, neck pain, numbness etc could be due to compression of the spinal nerves in the cervical spine region. This can happen due to overuse of computers, work involving straining of neck, herniated disc, canal stenosis, bone disease, spondylosis, poor posture etc. A MRI of the cervical spine and nerve conduction studies may be required. Please consult a neurologist.

Avatar n tn until she starts to move around. The nausea stays with her until she has some food and liquid in her stomach. Many times, it subsides, but comes back when she moves around again. All her tests EGD, Cat Scan, MRI, etc turn out normal. Hida Scan showed her gall bladder to be very small and only 10% operative, so she had it removed about two months ago. Nausea subsided some for a few days, but it's back almost every day now, and once in a while she has complained of dizziness as well.
Avatar f tn I was always told it was labrynthitis and had to just live with it but recently my symptoms have changed the dizziness is always preceded with a sudden rise in temperature like a (flush) and a feeling of nausea pain in my stomach and a slight headache. Do you think this is something entirely different from the labrynthitis.
Avatar f tn Iron overload is another common genetic disorder missed in the early stages, with abdominal pain, nausea, fatigue, joint pain, and drs dont run these iron tests on regular blood panel. They are ferritin, transferrin saturation%, TIBC and serum iron. Also liver enzymes can indicate if there are any systemic problems, infections going on so an ALT, AST, and GGT reading are good to get with regards to liver.
Avatar m tn ) 2 wks ago with diarreah and sulphur belches, now have lower left quadrant pain with sour, bitter taste in mouth, slight nausea, dizziness, upset stomach, belching after food or drink, and small white stools.
Avatar m tn nausea, dizziness and mild abdominal pain. I have been diagnosed with Vaso-Vagal syncope but I don't think this is related. I also noticed that there are times when I go pee and even after I am done I still "feel" like I need to pee but I can't. Now when these symptoms first appeared, I originally thought I had the stomach flu (nausea, mild abdominal pain) or a urinary tract infection (peeing problem).
Avatar f tn I was in and out of hospital for 3 weeks, with breathing problems, chest and back pain, dizziness, nausea and extreme stomach pain. After a month my chest infection finally subsided with the help of IV steroids and 6 different courses of antibiotics and nebulisers but the rest of the symptoms remain and I find myself doubled over with stomach pain daily. I've had bloods, X-rays and scans and am awaiting an endoscopy but they have no idea what's wrong.

Avatar n tn Because chest pain can be something serious you really need to get seen by a dr. It's possible it's nothing more than acid reflux, but it could be something much more serious so it's not worth the risk. If you feel any dizziness, shortness of breath, extreme pressure in your chest or severe nausea you should get to the ER.
1811506 tn?1316541908 I have exactly the same symptoms as you noted on this post and my HIDA scan revealed an ejection fraction of only 17%. I have dizziness nausea pain in my right upper quadrant between my shoulder blades and up the right side of my neck. I can't eat anything even low fat food without setting off the pain. I'm due to have my gallbladder removed this coming Friday and wondered whether or not you ever had gallbladder surgery and did it resolve your problem?
Avatar f tn I am having the exact same symptoms, with the same tightness in my head and dizziness, nausea, pain, and feeling like I am going to pass out. Have you found out any information about your condition?
