Avatar n tn For over a month now I have been suffering from stomach pain, nausea, a bit of gas and bloating, and food tasting really weird/gross. I've been taking prescribed antacids for it and lots of generic tums. A similar thing like this occurred a month ago, however, my stomach only hurt when I touched the very lower portion of it then. Today my stomach hurts when I touch it mostly in the middle and when I don't touch it. The pain feels like the inside of my stomach is just raw.
Avatar n tn OK, would you call it bloating? Your stomach distends after eating?
Avatar f tn At the beginning I was feeling discomfort and bloating which later turned into pain, nausea and diarrhea. On Tuesday the pain became excruciating and it radiated to my stomach, making my nausea even worse. In the evening my stomach symptoms bettered but the instetinal pain continued. It felt sometimes colicky and sometimes persistent and I had so much gas but it was difficult for me to pass it (though I had mild diarrhea 3-4 times).

Avatar f tn I've answered this question for you before - https://www.medhelp.org/posts/Herpes/Pain-bloating-nausea-could-it-be-herpes/show/3066599 Have you seen a doctor for your stomach? It is most definitely not from ghsv1. You really need to see a doctor for your stomach - it could be from many things, but it is not ghsv1. It would not cause those symptoms.
Avatar m tn Hi. I'm hoping someone could help me out! Just last night I think I experienced Heartburn for the first time and it was while I was eating. It seemed to last for about two hours. I looked on the web because I was freaking out because I had this sharp pain in my chest. So, I tried drinking a cup of milk, which didn't seem to help. Eventually it went away. I seemed to feel fine for the most of the day but I've felt like my stomach was bloated.
Avatar f tn Since around September last year I have been suffering from what I suppose is heartburn or acid reflux. I feel a burning sensation or bloating in my stomach, bloating in chest area and sometimes nausea to the point where I have been sitting in school considering taking the rest of the day off because of the pain. That only ever happens when i'm at school though, that it gets that bad.
Avatar m tn The problems cured for some time but then several problems like Gastric, Acidity, and most irritating one, nausea and fullness and bloating in stomach and chest. So during the last 5-6 years. I have undergone many treatments and a lot of medications and medical tests. Many of the tests like ultrasound showed no problems in abdomen but a bood test called widal test resulted postive and doctor told that I have Typhoid/Enteritis infection in stomach and intestines.
Avatar n tn Viral gastroenteritis can lead to nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. The exact location of pain and other details will help in determining the accurate cause .Take light meals. Avoid spicy fried foods. If the symptoms are severe consult a gastroenterologist. Best of luck and regards!
Avatar n tn You may be allergic to one of the ingredients you use all the time. What are you symptoms? Do you have nausea, pain, bloating, cramps, diarrhea or what?

Avatar n tn My eleven year old daughter is having morning nausea (no vomiting or stomach pain) and weakness for past one week. Later in the day (everyday) she feels better and eats well. By night she is so normal that she plans for her next day at school. But when she wakes up in the morning she is back to -nausea and weakness. On couple of days (last week) we have been able to drop her at school, late. And she is fine. Her doctor is puzzled.
Avatar m tn However, the moment of truth came during the first week of April 2012 where I started to experience severe nausea and stomach bloating sensation (no sharp pain this time) whenever I had a meal, even light ones without fail. After a few days of this, I went to see a gastro specialist who did a stomach scope, ultrasound and a biopsy. Turns out I was having minor chronic gastritis and duodenal ulcers. I was tested negative for H. Pylori and there are no symptoms of acid reflux.
Avatar n tn I recently experienced the same symptoms (bloating, belching, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting) as was related in the previous posting. My doctor attributed it to a virus in the stomach possibly created from eating a not-so-fresh food item. I took an antibiotic to relieve the nausea and vomiting sensations and Petmo Bismal for the other symptoms while eating a BRAT diet and drinking much liquids. Symptoms have lessened but not 100% on the fourth day.
Avatar m tn Pepto-Bismol is an over-the-counter drug used for treatment of nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhoea, and other temporary discomforts of the stomach and gastrointestinal tract. Ginger ale is often used as a home remedy to alleviate indigestion or motion sickness. Hence you can take them and once you feel slightly better you can get antacids and anti-emetics form the pharmacy. Hope this helps. The answer is based on information provided.
Avatar f tn My 20 year old daughter has experienced abdominal pain off and on for the last 5 years. She has been treated for GERD, IBS, Ulcers and stress. She has had gall bladder ultra sounds, an endoscopy, an upper GI with a small bowel follow through and most recently a gall bladder ejection fraction test. All tests have been normal, but the episodes continue to become more frequent, more intense and longer lasting. She worries constantly about when and where these episodes will occur.
Avatar m tn No just a pain in lower stomach and my stomach growls alot, I know its gas, but why doesn't it move. Once in awhile I will have sharp pains in my stomach and have to rush to the bathroom. I know thats part of the IBS. But why I get these pains in my stomach only in the morning is strange. My GI doctor just passed it off, like it was nothing. I also noticed that I don't belch that much. Even if I do drink a soda or beer once in a great while, maybe once a year or so.
Avatar f tn The doctor back then, never found anything (except she always said i have a ton of gas), but my symptoms (nausea and pain) just went away after a few months. Now, im 14 and still burp all the time. I have ton of gas. And now im having bloating. The doctor now will probably do another endoscopy (i had one when i was 8) but i was wondering if anyone knows what this is? Do you think, because i have so much gas, that its being trapped in my stomach or something??
Avatar m tn IBS is something to look into (irritable bowel syndrome) or gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying, which can cause bloating, nausea and even bowel blockage). You use a probiotic. Those can be very helpful (either pill form or in yogurt or drinks). You have to do it regularly for effectiveness. Regularly drinking water also helps. Exercise can also help. Please let us know if you have been to a gastroenterologist or if you plan to.
Avatar n tn t vomit just always feels as if I need to), Issues swallowing( I feel like something is in the way), hacking up foam and once a yellow sour liquid, constipation, Horrible bloating and abdominal pain when making most bowl movements. On a few occasions an excruciating 30sec pain in my rectum making it impossible to sit almost as if I have sat on a gas pocket that couldn't escape. Loud gurgling noises that sound and feel like gas, stomach has gotten bigger.
Avatar n tn I have GERD and IBS and although I am taking omneprazole still have nausea so much of the time...even after eating. Any sugggestions....I feel so miserable.

Avatar f tn Right now I find myself experiencing bouts of nausea, accompanied by an upset stomach and bloating. These symptoms will last week of two and then these issues seem to stop and I'll be symptom free for a few weeks or longer before they return. The nausea is very bothersome. It hinders my appetite. I'm hesitant to go out with friends because I know my stomach may get upset and I'll be too ill to do anything. Are there any medications my doctor can prescribe to alleviate the nausea?
Avatar f tn t eat nothing! even a peanut will make my stomach ache, bloat up and nausea!. Its a horrible pressure/bloating/pain. It feels like my heart starts bitting faster and i start feeling sick. I can't pass gas (neither exit) My stomach takes about 3-4 days to be able to digest food. and If im lucky i go to the bathroom once a week. When i eat a "normal" size meal i get this mean cramps on the left side of my lower abdomen.
