I took a double dose (600mg) of clindamycin as I missed a dose. I am experiencing severe pain from my chest through to my back. It feels like spasms and is difficult to breath. I normally take nexium on a daily basis; however I missed my dose of that too. I did take my nexium but I have felt absolutely no relief whatsoever. Any suggestions other than take my medicine as prescribed and don't double up dosage. I am absolutely miserable.

They sent me to another doctor to give me a ultra sound but ended up not taking the tests because I said I was feeling better with the medication I'm on already so they saw no point because I'm already on medications for ulcers so the test really wouldn't have done anything but just tell us what they know already.
My 16 yr old son is experiencing pain in his upper body, side area. Would it be ok to administer 4 advil and a half a vicodin to relieve the pain? He weighs 180. All other medicines, per his doctor, can be administered following the adult dosage on the bottles. (ie: tylenol, cold remedies, motrin, etc.) I appreciate your help, thanks!

My sister is pregnant of 10 months ,she has a problem of urinal infection,she got pain in stomach and vaginal during the delivery of urinal.she has a stomach pain at the starting time of her pregnancy.Her doctor give her clacix 200, Profassi 1000,LFT suspension() to maintain the pregnancy and Lipigest 300 to kept in vaginal.Is it ok for her.she has low BP and feel very weak.
Suggest avoiding coffee and see if the stomach 'tightness' subsides. If no, then it may be the medication. if it is the medication, suggest talking to your MD. Thank you for your question.

I have a burning full feeling on my upper left abdomen just below my ribs. it ranges from a nagging pain sometimes to nearly unbearable at other times. When I get upset it really gets intense.. I can push on the spot that hurts and make myself burp ALOT and it will ease for a while.. It gets worse after food or any drink that isnt water sometimes I burp and it hurts in my chest and I burp up stomach acid.. My stomach is bloated most of the time.. wearing a girdle seems to ease my symptoms also.
Now I have been taking this medicine for five days. I still feel pain in the stomach especially in the early morning time close to 5 am. My question is if I am having pain due to the bacteria then by taking this medicne when should I start feeling comfortable. Could it be I have some other condition?
t have such painful pain for more ...... my stomach is always bloated which affects my back and either i feel pain in my stomach and back pain is also related ......any help i went to many doctors and made too many analyses with no benefits the pain goes worse and increases

my problem is that my only symptom is that i get continuous stomach ace and when i increased my dose by 25 mcg i started feeling better , but my problem is that the doctor says that the stomach ace is not related to thyroid medicine and i should stick to 75 mcg, and with this my stomach ace returns ,
i suppouse i should take ur advice and resume taking 100 mcg, my only worry is that will there be any complications if i take 100 mcg thyroxine (based on my current readings)

Your answer saved me from all the tensions i was undergoing. yesterday stomach pain again came. its becoz of my mistake. when my pain reduced, i started doing "pranayama" i did 3-4 types of breathing exercise. then had my breakfast. then the pain started again. again went to doctor. dr gave the same medicines. told to continue for 2 weeks and strict diet. i met a doctor who speaks more arabic... so i couldnt understand all the terms he told.
meds too, The other thing that may show a connection to reflux and thyroid is the symptom of muscle aches and spasms, and the valve (Sphincter) that connects the esophagus to the stomache is supposed to keep the stomach acids from backing up into the esophagus is a muscle, so that could be a connection, this is the problem with BP meds, The muscle becomes relaxed and does not close all the way, then you get the acid back-up. Just a Hunch.
I had this kind of stomach pain and I discovered that it was caused by a medicine that I was using in that moment. Moreover, the stomach pain used to come together with breathless, like ashma. This really scared me... I hope you discover soon which are the causes for your alergic reactions.... Sometimes when I take another kind of medicine this reactions come back...

It is strange the meds that we can not tolerate and how they affect us, I was never able to take birth control, it always had a negative effect on me.
U may want to try the probiotics every other day, and on the off day try a low dose of magnesium....but talk to ur Dr.....I found this helpful for me.
How many times did they test u for the H.Pylori?..It took Drs at least 3 tests b4 they found it in my dad.....not sure how they miss it,but they can.
Yesterday I went to the hospital & found out that I had a bacteria infection which they said was normal in pregnancy. They prescribed me a medicine called flagyl & it's a small thick chalky pill that's leaves a nasty after taste behind it. I have to take it twice a day for 7 days & every time I take it it bothers me.
the last period I had, lasting 3 weeks, was very heavy, loads of blood clots. Because of it, I am now taking iron supplements. Could that hurt the baby? I also am supposed to take stomach acid reducers. I don't take them, but should I? Would they hurt baby, or help? I have high stomach acid problems, but I've learned to control it.
