It has now been a month that my neck glands and my throat glands have been swollen steady. It is not sore, the only pain I feel is when they start to grow bigger, when ever i'm chewing and swallowing it will feel like a pinch sometimes, but not always. I went to my doctor early this week, but he's not sure whether to put my on antibotics for 2 weeks or not because he thinks it could either make it better or make me feel worse.
Hello. I'm becoming increasingly worried about swollen glands in my neck. The swelling is located on either side of my neck, roughly half an inch below the mastoid process (these might be the upper cervical lymph nodes but I'm not sure). They can't be seen, but when I feel my neck they feel hard. I've had them now for about three weeks. My only other symptoms: a slight sore throat that comes and goes, and a very infrequent cough.
i had sore left side for about 3 month, doc did all blood tests then ultrasound scan and all was good, now i god swollen gland in my right site of neck , just ion top of collar bound,it not sore but all shoulder feel uncomfortable, went to doc yesterday and all what he sad if it wont go away in about 3 weeks we have to cut it out, that make me panic even more, dont know what to think, i m only 29 , single mum to my 2 years old boy, i m panicking like mad

I also began to feel as if my lymph nodes in my throat were becoming enlarged and feared that I would have a sore throat the next day. Sure enough, the next day came and I had very enlarged neck glands and a severe sore throat, along with fatigue/tiredness. My muscles no longer ached, but my throat did and I think I had a fever that fluxuated between 99-101. By Thursday my sore throat had been wearing off, buy my glands were still enlarged and I still felt a little tired/weak.

The ones on my neck and underarms were small but there were many. These are the only symptoms no rash, no fever. Would somone with ars have different nodes come on different days? Would the sore throat have come on the same day as lymph glands? Would the glands be large? I am getting test for HIV and Mono. Thanks!!!
I have slightly swollen glands and sore (nurofen) every four to six hours. Don't feel like I have infection anywhere should I go to doctor. Don't want to waste their time. Only had this for three days.
I have had sore, swollen glands in my neck for over 3 weeks. My Dr. agreed they were swollen but ruled out lymphoma as I had had some blood tests but they were done before I had these symptoms. Are the symptoms that I have described consistent with a diagnosis of strep throat - would symptoms like swollen glands and neck pain still linger weeks after a course of antibiotics? If i was experiencing ARS, would my symptoms have shown up so quickly (3 days after) and still last this long?

I have pretty bad anxiety nearly everyday, I was diagnosed by a doctor last year but I've always really had it since I was a kid. So basically I have anxiety nearly everyday some days better than others, but the past three days I've had a a feeling of a swollen neck and my ears are also effected I can't seem to find any swollen glands but I've a little pain on my right side right under my jaw if I press down on it hard enough I also feel my throat closing in.
i assume swollen glands in the neck means inflamed lymph nodes? our 6 yr. old was seen today for a fever and sore throat complaint. the ped. said she has a throat infection and swollen glands and prescribed meds. she did check other areas of her body for glands (at least that is what i think she was feeling for). about 7 weeks ago she had the same thing (tho the whole family passed around a fever/infection). should we be overly concerned that she has been sick like this twice in two months?
If I had been exposed to HIV would my symptoms of sore throat, swollen neck glands and stiff neck be suggestive of ARS?

About five days ago, I noticed one of the glands on the left side of my neck was a little sore and swollen. The next two days, I woke up with a bit of a headache and that heavy feeling in your eyes. I started noticing a bit of a fever - about 99.5. Now for the last two days, I have had up to 100.5 with white spots on my left tonsil and some pressure in my left ear. All the swelling/pressure is on the left side of my head/neck - but there's no pain or soreness in my throat.
I initially thought it was a knot in my muscle, but now I have swollen neck glands with no sore throat.
About 6 or 7 months ago, I had a possible exposure to HIV (both protected & unprotected vaginal intercourse with oral) by a person with an unknown status. Around the same time I developed swollen glands in my neck and a mild sore throat. Sore throat went away in about 3 days and the blisters (there were about 10) disappeared a week and a half later. Now I'm 4 weeks from initial encounter and I still have large sensitive swollen glands in my neck and less swollen around my groin. I'm pretty sure my body temperature has been slightly higher than usual for the last 2 weeks also.
Is this normal for having contracted herpes?
