Avatar f tn I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
Avatar m tn I've searched the web and here and no really good answer. I'm taking a Sonata about 3 or 4 oclock in the morning. It does cause some jitters next day. Now I've started Sam-e and a Super Beta Complex and the Jitters are unbearable. I take some Xanax and it helps some. I can't take much and still function. The question is ... Is it the Sam-e or the Super B Complex causing the extreme jitters or anxiety?
Avatar m tn Anyway, when I took it to the pharmacy, all of the medications was controlled substances, percocet, sonata, and diclofenac. I was shcoked but the pharmacist tech already scanned it and I trust the FNP. I always go to this same pharmacy and never had a problem filling my prescriptions and my disabled problem. The pharmacist was even willing to fill the diclofenac at the time. I decline and told her I would pick them up Monday when all 3 were ready and I this didn't fill right.
Avatar m tn Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
Avatar m tn Robert, my sentiments exactly. Unfreakinbelievable hey? Unlike you many I read are right here. If it's any consolation, when I was treating I felt the same way and I'm not treating now but I still feel the same way. We hear how we must be sensitive to every one's feelings however, my definition of sensitivity is quite different. Some people think a forum is only for support to whine and complain about every little thing that happens to them.
198506 tn?1251156915 Come on, don't get down on yourself. I have fallen off the wagon more times then I can count. You can do this, don't give up. The summer is an especially hard time to control the cravings, all that BBQ, ice cream and water ice, ect, ect. The hungrygirl website has a lot of lower calorie recipes. Just keep trying that's all you can do.
Avatar f tn Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
1580703 tn?1651904887 I was wondering if clonezapem might help PLMD the leg/arm twitching which may be waking me up?
Avatar f tn Weirdly he's into the classics. Beethoven and Mozart. Things like that. Moonlight sonata gets him real still and he doesn't move. When its over he kicks like crazy till I put it back on. Anything played on a piano or violin seems to sooth him. He also loves when I sing to him. Could be anything.
Avatar n tn my dr just put me on sonata for sleep and i am being treated for add w/ritalin,lamictal for bpd, wellbrutrin depression, and nerourotin for nerve pain and a few days ago i started grinding my teeth together, looks like i am chewing gum all the time and i also am making grunting sounds.
Avatar f tn It seems that every time I stop taking ambien for a few days and I'm feeling side effects. When I wake up my head is killing me, my kidneys are killing me, and I can't stop sudden movement. I have tried to stop several times though my doctors and with therapy but its like nothing works. I try to stick with it but if I have to deal with worst side effects. I can't believe I've been in this mess since '09 and I'm taking too many to even my prescriptions out.
Avatar f tn I THINK, everyone here will let you know they flew off the wagon more than once. I would love to meet the person who had an addiction, and the next day stopped for good....... So, life is hard right now, you have my empathy. I am not saying this in a "jerk" tone. Something about me, and usually it ends up with more people throwing things at me, is I am honest to a fault. I have emotion, I have feelings, and I can be caring. What I don't do is sugar coat it.
918522 tn?1245836241 Hi, I know how strong you are, you have proved that by getting back on the wagon, you know you can do it, you know where i am if you need support
637356 tn?1301924822 Ok so I have fallen way off the band wagon and stopped doing weight watchers, stopped exercising, and stopped caring. I am going to get back on the band wagon though and start working hard to take the pounds off. Luckily I haven't gained anything just haven't lost any either. I will have to motivate myself and get my matabilizim back in gear again.
Avatar m tn in Tylenol PM), 2 ounces of Nyquil, one Lunesta or Sonata (whichever I can lay hands upon), and one 1 mg Xanax (but not every night, to avoid addiction). When I can take all of it, ninety five percent of the time I sleep within an hour or an hour and a half. Without the xanax it still works about half of the time.

Avatar f tn I am depressed over this as well as postpartum issues and have just been put on Celexa for anxiety and depression as well as Sonata for sleep by a recommended psychiatrist. The Sonata is too short-acthing though. I called the doc on call but he does not want to prescribe anything stronger until tomorrow, if adding melatonin and/or benadryl does not help. I am currently wearing a holter monitor and have also worn en event monitor recently.
Avatar n tn To me, falling "a little" off the wagon is like being "a little" pregnant. Like IBKleen said, I'd be more worried about how I relapsed than how bad the withdrawals would be.
1295419 tn?1276822872 Yes we do, but it's imperative to get back on it. It's okay, and this takes time so be patient with yourself. Have you been in therapy? I have found this can help a lot with the constant worry and fear, which only feeds our anxiety. Do your best NOT to google health problems, I know it can be difficult, but you know it will only upset you. It creates more fear which you don't need, and acceptance is important when we've had the tests done and they show everything to be fine.
Avatar f tn You should look into the vw jetta wagon. It comes in a TDI version which is clean diesel. I drive the TDI Golf and I love it! If you do a lot of driving then seriously diesel is the way to go. I've owned several different cars over the years from Chevy, Ford, Toyota - but this is the first time I have a car that I absolutely love and adore. The Golf will be too small for a family of 4 but the Jetta Wagon would be really good. You should look into it!
