Avatar m tn Nobody officially accused me of forging but the pharmacist looked at me like I was a criminal and the doc never verified the script as of Mon. I didn't want to deal with them anymore so on Monday I told the pharmacist that I cancel 2 of the prescriptions on Sunday and if she didnt get the memo then, here it is again "Cancel all 3 prescriptions now". They put a label on it and I tored the script in front of her face and walked out.
1116669 tn?1269143266 The dose of nonselective beta-blockers is determined by a 25% decrease in resting heart rate or a decrease in heart rate to 55 beats per minute or the development of adverse effects. The use of beta-blockers decreases the risk of initial variceal bleeding by approximately 45%. As long as you are compensated, you should be able to treat with the new STAT C meds which should be on market next year. Not sure how you plan to pay as it will be quite expensive.
Avatar m tn I've been having very bad insomnia, and used Xanax from the 11th of this month to the 16th of this month. I was prescribed 20 .5 mg pills, and used 12 of them during that span of time (not quite 2 a day, but that's the average, I guess). Had bad anxiety attacks after getting off, but Im not sure if that's from general anxiety/mental problems, or from the drug itself. I had another panic attack and went to the emergency room for it and was prescribed Sonata 5MG (30 capsules).

1926656 tn?1334970201 I called my original ob to find out if I'm still supposed to be taking the prozac they prescribed me over three months ago, even though they told me I'd only be taking it a month tops. And they felt inclined to tell me #1 they don't know when I should stop taking it, and #2 to direct all my calls and questions to my specialist who is two fcking hours away. So I got really mad and haven't taken my prozac since then.
Avatar m tn Did you say failed tx will increase the severity of liver fibrosis and speed up the damage process? I asked the head of the GI at MCW and he said no.
Avatar f tn The doc had to prescribe me something to help with my sickness this is also my 3rd pregnancy I was sick all night and day for almost 13 Weeks then finally talked to the doc they gave me reglan.
Avatar m tn Sounds like you may have just needed something added to your meds to take with them, instead of upping the strength of what you take. Does that make any sense? The thing you are saying about damned if you do and damned if you don't is true for me too. I have a broken vertebrae, degenerative disc disease, bad arthritis and some disc something that I don't know what is. LOL So, here's what I do.
Avatar m tn Hello, I am in southern W.V., my primary doctor of 13 years retired from his practice, I am physically disabled. I have chronic hep c, diagnosed over a decade and a half ago. I have Ostheo Arthritus, of which my knee has been replaced, total hysterectomy, the list is long. My hep c is not contracted from iv use. I have been on several blood pressure medicines, hydrochlorthiazide, vicoprofen, Xanax, motrin 800, for those 13 years.
Avatar f tn Lol so the question is exactly as it sounds. My 5 year old stepdaughter has to use a booster seat by law here, my 3 year old is in a toddler car seat and now with the little one due any time we have to figure how to squeeze the base and infant seat into there too. We have a 4-door Hyundai sonata. Short of taking off a door I'm pretty stuck on what the heck to do here. lol. Anybody else found to trick to make it all fit safely???
Avatar f tn I am heartsick about it and I find myself just wanting to take a pill and let that magical feeling take me away instead of dealing with the emotions of what is going on. I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills.
Avatar f tn Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
Avatar f tn I play all kinds of music for him, but he really likes the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time sound track and Gorillaz. With Dethklok he tries to kick as hard as he can as if he's trying to moshpit inside, and oprea puts him to sleep. Its funny to feel his reactions.
1580703 tn?1651904887 I suggest that you consult your primary care physician for careful titration of the dose or an alternative drug in case the symptoms are distressing. Abrupt withdrawal of this drug can also lead to tremors. If the symptoms persist despite dose modification, twitching would require investigation. You are welcome with any further clarification. Take care.
Avatar n tn Glycated hemoglobin A (HbA1c) was identified as a risk factor for a greater rate of brain atrophy. Clustering of factors associated with the so-called metabolic syndrome in subjects with high HbA1c suggests a link between this syndrome and late-life brain tissue loss. Avatar f tn i would be just slightly hesitant to say that there will be little discomfort using valium for a taper. most times when you're having this much difficulty before even starting the taper, it means that a taper will be very difficult....however, everyone responds differently. thats really secondary to the fact that as madtram mentioned, there DOES need to be a taper. taking these drugs in excess for days or even weeks at a time then stoping is REALLY not good for you.
Avatar m tn Hi peoples. Back again, sorry. I see that you good folks know something about sleeping problems. I've had those for years. Can't get to sleep, then in the morning don't want to wake up. I don't mean I don't get "unsleepy", I mean consciousness isn't to be desired. That's a different thing.
Avatar f tn t been actively having sex, and the last time I did was on January 2nd, two and a half weeks later i got the damned symptoms that now repeat every month or so. Please help me... could this be herpes? Or recurring yeast/bacterial vaginitis?
611067 tn?1458591483 I still bemoan the loss of a McCain Lieberman ticket-2 moderates from either side of the fence- a real act of combining the differences to make a better whole- however they didn't ask me.....
