Avatar m tn Anyway, when I took it to the pharmacy, all of the medications was controlled substances, percocet, sonata, and diclofenac. I was shcoked but the pharmacist tech already scanned it and I trust the FNP. I always go to this same pharmacy and never had a problem filling my prescriptions and my disabled problem. The pharmacist was even willing to fill the diclofenac at the time. I decline and told her I would pick them up Monday when all 3 were ready and I this didn't fill right.
Avatar m tn ve been having very bad insomnia, and used Xanax from the 11th of this month to the 16th of this month. I was prescribed 20 .5 mg pills, and used 12 of them during that span of time (not quite 2 a day, but that's the average, I guess). Had bad anxiety attacks after getting off, but Im not sure if that's from general anxiety/mental problems, or from the drug itself. I had another panic attack and went to the emergency room for it and was prescribed Sonata 5MG (30 capsules).
Avatar f tn I play all kinds of music for him, but he really likes the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time sound track and Gorillaz. With Dethklok he tries to kick as hard as he can as if he's trying to moshpit inside, and oprea puts him to sleep. Its funny to feel his reactions.
Avatar f tn I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
Avatar m tn in Tylenol PM), 2 ounces of Nyquil, one Lunesta or Sonata (whichever I can lay hands upon), and one 1 mg Xanax (but not every night, to avoid addiction). When I can take all of it, ninety five percent of the time I sleep within an hour or an hour and a half. Without the xanax it still works about half of the time.

Avatar f tn Are there any other meds that any of you take that have helped you in the long term?? I have really gained alot of weight over the years from taking the Seroquel. Avatar f tn I am currently taking the following for FMS: Celexa (depression), Ultram (pain) Vicodin (bad pain), Lunesta (to stay asleep), and now Provigil (to stay awake in the day). I have say, these all are helping, but maybe about 50%. The pain never goes away, only flucuates to bad or worse. The Lunesta is great. I tried Ambien & Sonata, but couldn't handle the side effects. Lunesta keeps me asleep but doesn't make me feel hung-over in the morning.
1580703 tn?1651904887 I suggest that you consult your primary care physician for careful titration of the dose or an alternative drug in case the symptoms are distressing. Abrupt withdrawal of this drug can also lead to tremors. If the symptoms persist despite dose modification, twitching would require investigation. You are welcome with any further clarification. Take care.
Avatar n tn Glycated hemoglobin A (HbA1c) was identified as a risk factor for a greater rate of brain atrophy. Clustering of factors associated with the so-called metabolic syndrome in subjects with high HbA1c suggests a link between this syndrome and late-life brain tissue loss. Avatar f tn i would be just slightly hesitant to say that there will be little discomfort using valium for a taper. most times when you're having this much difficulty before even starting the taper, it means that a taper will be very difficult....however, everyone responds differently. thats really secondary to the fact that as madtram mentioned, there DOES need to be a taper. taking these drugs in excess for days or even weeks at a time then stoping is REALLY not good for you.
Avatar f tn I will get runs of pacs that feel like that, a bit like svt but not quite the same as my avnrt but it feels like there is some sort of speeding up of some sort. I had one of those today. Considering you have known ectopics it is possible this is what you are also feeling though one can't say for sure unless it is caught on a monitor.

Avatar m tn ve been on Ambien (currently 10mg) for SEVERAL years now (5 or more). I have many chronic pain conditions, including fibroymalgia. One of the major symptoms of fibro is insomnia - which I definitely suffer from! As I said, I'm currently on Ambien 10mg and my doctor has it written for me to take it EVERY night, rather than "taking a chance" on being able to sleep without it and then having to take it later possibly.
Avatar n tn I am 26 years old I suffer from chronic migraines. Supposedly I have restless leg syndrome. Since I had diagnose they have change my medication 3 times. At first the doctor prescribed me tramadol 50 mg, then she prescribed Requip 15 mg and now they prescribed me Meripex .0125 mg. My question is Why none of those medicines I just mentioned help me with the symptoms I have?
1205076 tn?1310609559 I breathe very shallow at night and I have to prop up on a lot of pillows. I wake up several times during the night and I toss and turn a lot. My mouth is very dry and my throat is raw, too. Already, I have been diagnosed with: sarcoidosis (lung, liver), fibromyalgia, osteopenia, chronic cough, high blood pressure (controlled), and severe osteoarthritis. I just came off an 18 month regimen of prednisone, 10 mg down to completely off.
1580703 tn?1651904887 Well, without knowing the relevant clinical details or a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to comment specifically on your clinical condition. The choice of the medication would depend on the clinical symptoms, their severity, desirable effects, the side effect profile, the presence or absence of comorbidities etc. Classifying one medication as better over the other is largely rather relative based on individual profile.
Avatar f tn Lol so the question is exactly as it sounds. My 5 year old stepdaughter has to use a booster seat by law here, my 3 year old is in a toddler car seat and now with the little one due any time we have to figure how to squeeze the base and infant seat into there too. We have a 4-door Hyundai sonata. Short of taking off a door I'm pretty stuck on what the heck to do here. lol. Anybody else found to trick to make it all fit safely???
