Avatar n tn I had to beg for a 24 hour heart monitor. I wore the monitor and my heart was going crazy..I was scared to death waiting for the results. After a week the results came in and this is what it said>>>>1. The actual recording time was 23 hours and 39 minutes. During this time the dominant rhythm was sinus rhythm with an average heart rate of 74 beats per minute and ranging from 55-104 beats per minute. 2. There are occasional PVCs unaccompanied by symptoms. 3.
Avatar m tn It sounds more like the Sonata is causing this, unless this is something you've been taking for awhile, as these are common side effects of it. I doubt the B complex is causing the problem, but I wonder, when are taking it and when are you taking Sam-e?
Avatar m tn My last refill for percocet was 10/19 and 12/09 for ambien and that was my plastic surgeon. My surgeon refused to give me anything else. He told me to find a PCP and I did 12/17 but this FNP isn't addressing my pain/insomnia effectively. On 12/17/10 she wrote me a script for indocin and benadryl. This didn't work so on 12/23/10 she wrote a questionable or I'm not sure who wrote it for sonata, percocet, and dicflonac.
Avatar n tn I agree about talking to the doc. You might consider melatonin, though. It's OTC, safe, and works well for some people. I've been using that off-and-on throughout treatment. Go with the lowest OTC dose, though. It's a natural compound and if the body gets too much it just ignores the signal. Also, talk to your doc about Ambien (lasts roughly 8 hours) vs. Sonata (lasts about 2 hours).
Avatar f tn The Z sleep meds, (Ambien & Sonata) can be hard to taper off due to their relatively short half life. Talk to your doctor about using a Dr Ashton style taper where you switch to valium & taper off that which should help minimize the side effects you experience. Your GABA receptors have become tolerant to these drugs & it won't get any better if you continue with them but you should be able to taper very slowly using valium without too much discomfort.
Avatar f tn Has anybody ever heard of these symptoms that my brother-in-law has been complaining of for the past 6 months and are getting progressively worse. He is 60 yrs of age. Symptoms: Impaired vision, mainly while mobile Involuntary stomach disturbances followed by wretching of the throat area, which progressively gets louder and again when mobile or concentrating. There are periods where his eyes close involuntarily so if his unaccompanied he is prone to injury.
Avatar n tn sensation in that same foot - just like described by several on here - every 2 to 3 seconds and unaccompanied by pain. I really can't afford to go to the doctor since Obamacare. The last time I went for a severe cough/bronchitis and I ended up paying almost $300 because they ordered x-rays. With something like this,it would probably be more like $600-$800 because I am sure they will want to order x-rays and have me see a specialist.
Avatar f tn Hey, I took Seroquel for yrs for my anxiety and it worked quite well. But finally stopped working, I guess I built up a tolerance. But it never put me out.

Avatar m tn Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
Avatar n tn My son's Kindergarten class sends its kids to the bathroom unaccompanied by an adult. The bathroom is down the hall of the class and I wanted to know if it is safe to let 5yr olds go to the bathroom alone in a Public School? I don't think they should be sent by themselves. Recently my 5 year old was in the bathroom with another boy and my son put soap on the other boy's head and got in trouble.
Avatar n tn The spot grew until my whole left eye was consumed and partial right eye. Lasted for about 20 minutes and then went away. No dizziness, no headache, no unusual "feelings". Any thoughts??
Avatar f tn I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
Avatar m tn Again thank you for all the work you put into this topic for everyone.
Avatar f tn Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
1580703 tn?1651904887 I started clonezepam for my sleep apnea, I twitch all the time in my leg/arm before I fall asleep and I seem to have slept well even without bipap once I felt this urge to write something and I started twitching like I had a seizure for a few minutes

Avatar n tn my dr just put me on sonata for sleep and i am being treated for add w/ritalin,lamictal for bpd, wellbrutrin depression, and nerourotin for nerve pain and a few days ago i started grinding my teeth together, looks like i am chewing gum all the time and i also am making grunting sounds.
Avatar m tn so far the spots are without pain or itchiness. will wait and see tomorrow morning.
Avatar n tn Before I started treatment, actually before i even knew i had hep c, i went for over a year, itching every waking hour - went to derm, they had no idea and what they gave me did no good. in fact after research about it, i discovered it was a symptom of something to do with the liver .Now i am off treatment and still itch, but not all of the time. The only thing that helped me at one point was the Gold's powder. Now I use Eucerin Calming Cream. Hope this helps.
Avatar m tn Yah, I took all that junk at 12 and it's now 1300 and I'm about to keel over. Sonata or lunesta both work for me, ambien did too when that's what I could get. But only when mixed with the other stuff. Folks have told me that my 'cocktail' is going to make my liver fail and that that's a very painful death. The death part doesn't bother me, but I don't want my last awareness to be one of pain.
Avatar f tn I am depressed over this as well as postpartum issues and have just been put on Celexa for anxiety and depression as well as Sonata for sleep by a recommended psychiatrist. The Sonata is too short-acthing though. I called the doc on call but he does not want to prescribe anything stronger until tomorrow, if adding melatonin and/or benadryl does not help. I am currently wearing a holter monitor and have also worn en event monitor recently.
