Sonata for strings

Common Questions and Answers about Sonata for strings

sonata

Avatar m tn It sounds more like the Sonata is causing this, unless this is something you've been taking for awhile, as these are common side effects of it. I doubt the B complex is causing the problem, but I wonder, when are taking it and when are you taking Sam-e?
Avatar m tn My last refill for percocet was 10/19 and 12/09 for ambien and that was my plastic surgeon. My surgeon refused to give me anything else. He told me to find a PCP and I did 12/17 but this FNP isn't addressing my pain/insomnia effectively. On 12/17/10 she wrote me a script for indocin and benadryl. This didn't work so on 12/23/10 she wrote a questionable or I'm not sure who wrote it for sonata, percocet, and dicflonac.
Avatar n tn I agree about talking to the doc. You might consider melatonin, though. It's OTC, safe, and works well for some people. I've been using that off-and-on throughout treatment. Go with the lowest OTC dose, though. It's a natural compound and if the body gets too much it just ignores the signal. Also, talk to your doc about Ambien (lasts roughly 8 hours) vs. Sonata (lasts about 2 hours).
Avatar f tn The Z sleep meds, (Ambien & Sonata) can be hard to taper off due to their relatively short half life. Talk to your doctor about using a Dr Ashton style taper where you switch to valium & taper off that which should help minimize the side effects you experience. Your GABA receptors have become tolerant to these drugs & it won't get any better if you continue with them but you should be able to taper very slowly using valium without too much discomfort.
Avatar n tn The gyn that inserted it did not tell me that i needed to check for the strings once a month or inform me that there were strings at all. I was 16 and had no choice to get it, because my mom said i had to, so i didnt know what i was getting...what do i do if i cant find my strings???i am setting up a doctors appointment, but what if they can find it...???
Avatar f tn Hey, I took Seroquel for yrs for my anxiety and it worked quite well. But finally stopped working, I guess I built up a tolerance. But it never put me out.
Avatar f tn It's probably not necessary to have it taken out. I'd call your obgyn and ask them to check the strings as soon as possible. The strings are supposed to wrap around the cervix to avoid situations like this, so what's probably happened is the strings have slipped down the cervix a bit or misaligned, and a quick check and get them back in place.
Avatar n tn If you can't feel the strings you need to see your ob/gyn or medical professional who inserted the IUD. They need to make sure it hasn't been displaced. If you do feel the strings, don't pull the strings yourself. Have a medical professional do it. Othwerwise you risk perforating your uterus or heavy, dangerous bleeding if it doesn't come out correctly or you accidentally pull too hard.
800427 tn?1324945719 So, i got the mirena put in last week and your supposed to check the opening of your cervix for the strings that hang down once a month to make sure its still in place. Easy enough right? WRONG. I have no idea what the hell im feeling around for....its like trying to find a needle in a hay stack for me. I am embarrassed and ashamed to say (after having a baby!) that i have no freaking clue where my cervix is. To be blunt, i stuck a clean finger up there thinking (oh this will be a snap...
Avatar m tn Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
2020005 tn?1628125976 If the IUD was to move and start to grow into you, you would feel it. There are strings attached to the IUD for you to be able to check yourself. Your dr will also check during your yearly physical. And.... If it were to move out of place you will feel it. It will cause a serious abdominal pain. Don't get me wrong, it can happen, but with the amount of IUDs used in the US and Canada, I think it is pretty rare.
Avatar f tn I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
Avatar f tn My doctor told me to check my mirena once a week to see if i felt the strings the last time i checked it the strings where down further than they were last week is it normal for the strings to move up and down or is my mirena out of place. Has anybody else had this problem?
Avatar m tn I have the mirena and have been spotting the last few days so i have been using tampons. Tonight i went to change tampons and the strings were not outside of me. I went looking for it and could barely feel strings but dont know if its the mirena or tampon?
Avatar f tn I just got the Mriena UDI a week ago and i was wondering if this has happened to anyone. I cant really feel my strings, is it possiable that my partner has pushed them further up inside me and is the mirena still in place? Do I need to go get a pregancy test? please help if anyone knows the answer thanks!!!!
Avatar f tn I had the mirena IUD and I had problems feeling my strings too. It turned out everything was fine with it for me, the strings were just a little short I guess or maybe it's just because a hae short fingers. With this stuff though, you are suppose to have it checked if you can't feel the strings, just to make sure it is in there right.
Avatar f tn Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
Avatar f tn I JUST RELISED THAT I CANT FIND MY STRINGS. I HAVNT HAD TO MUCH PAIN WITH THIS THING... BUT IM AFRAID THE DOCKS WONT BEABLE TO FIND THEM.... HAS THIS HAPPEND TO ANYONE ELSE? WHAT WENT ON????
Avatar m tn I did not have this before the STD so I know it is not normal for me. Before I took zithromax the mucus strings in my urine were more noticeable. I have not had sex during this time so there is no risk for reinfection. Should I be worried that zithromax will not work because of the mucus in my urine?
1580703 tn?1651904887 I started clonezepam for my sleep apnea, I twitch all the time in my leg/arm before I fall asleep and I seem to have slept well even without bipap once I felt this urge to write something and I started twitching like I had a seizure for a few minutes
Avatar f tn Just something fun for the mammas to answer what type of music calms your baby?
Avatar m tn m still on my period so I should be able to feel the strings. I pushed my finger In a few inches up and cannot find anything. Granted, I'm too scared to push things inside my vagina, but I can't check the strings. The IUD is not lost (yet) because I've only had it for two days. What should I do?
Avatar f tn Afterwards I had some bleeding like I was on my period which was kinda strange for me. So 5 days went by and I checked for the strings and they were there but felt something sharp so I had my husband look up what it's supposed to look like and it was the knot that I was feeling so I gently pulled on the strings and it came right out.
Avatar f tn I had the Mirena iud inserted two months ago but ever since it has been placed in the uterus, I have an uncomfortable feeling where the strings are in the fornix. It feels like the fornix is irritated and body wants to reject it. Also I have a burning/itchy/spots of blood around the labria minora region. I had a test for a yeast infection and it came back negative.
Avatar m tn My Gynecologist there suggested to cut strings a little to reduce discomfort to my ex husband. In August 2010 I checked if everything ok and made ultrasound. Now I decided to remove IUD because it's already 5 years had passed. During my visit to the doctor he figured out that the strings are deep inside, they are too short and not visible at all. He tried hard to find it, but everything was unsuccessful (you can only imagine how that cramp!!!). He told me that surgery is needed.
Avatar n tn my dr just put me on sonata for sleep and i am being treated for add w/ritalin,lamictal for bpd, wellbrutrin depression, and nerourotin for nerve pain and a few days ago i started grinding my teeth together, looks like i am chewing gum all the time and i also am making grunting sounds.
Avatar f tn My OB recommended paragard for BC after little man gets here because I had mentioned that I havent done well with hormonal BC in the past. (I either get extremely moody or I completely lose my sex drive) I'm just concerned because I havent been able to find much reviews on it (that didnt seem like they were paid or fake anyways.
