Avatar f tn I love big band music, and I would say that ONE of my favorite big bands is "Stan Kenton" he had a very innovative orchestra. One of my favorite pieces by him is "Song for a Sunday" it is so beautiful, and in this particular selection, he uses his orchestra that has violins and french horns, it is awesome.

I cannot wait. i'm on day 8 no cigs, day 17 no pills...and i'm manic at the moment....going with it, feeling the feelings...getting some work done at work...(sort of)... but most of all I'm SUPER EXCITED to go to this concert tomorrow night...they finally have a new album out that i'm pickin up after work.

Avatar m tn It sounds more like the Sonata is causing this, unless this is something you've been taking for awhile, as these are common side effects of it. I doubt the B complex is causing the problem, but I wonder, when are taking it and when are you taking Sam-e?
Avatar m tn My last refill for percocet was 10/19 and 12/09 for ambien and that was my plastic surgeon. My surgeon refused to give me anything else. He told me to find a PCP and I did 12/17 but this FNP isn't addressing my pain/insomnia effectively. On 12/17/10 she wrote me a script for indocin and benadryl. This didn't work so on 12/23/10 she wrote a questionable or I'm not sure who wrote it for sonata, percocet, and dicflonac.
Avatar n tn I agree about talking to the doc. You might consider melatonin, though. It's OTC, safe, and works well for some people. I've been using that off-and-on throughout treatment. Go with the lowest OTC dose, though. It's a natural compound and if the body gets too much it just ignores the signal. Also, talk to your doc about Ambien (lasts roughly 8 hours) vs. Sonata (lasts about 2 hours).
Avatar f tn The Z sleep meds, (Ambien & Sonata) can be hard to taper off due to their relatively short half life. Talk to your doctor about using a Dr Ashton style taper where you switch to valium & taper off that which should help minimize the side effects you experience. Your GABA receptors have become tolerant to these drugs & it won't get any better if you continue with them but you should be able to taper very slowly using valium without too much discomfort.

Avatar f tn Hey, I took Seroquel for yrs for my anxiety and it worked quite well. But finally stopped working, I guess I built up a tolerance. But it never put me out.
Avatar m tn Anyway I have been with this replaced doctor for a yr and a half, I had been explaining to him that 2 vicaprofen in a 24 hour period is not sufficient he by the way had taken me off the motrin and changed my Xanax to Ativan. I also have been on sonata 10 mg for all these yrs. I was given a urine test which is pretty normal, before I took it I told him that there would prob. not be hydrocodone in it as we had been discussing that I needed more pain relief.
Avatar f tn I have a real problem with insomnia I went to the doctor last week and got Sonata for sleep and I asked for clonadine because I knew that I would be out of pills this week and would be having w/d sysptoms. He did not want to give me that he gave me klonapin instead.. I have not told him I have a problem with pills. The sonata is not working for my insomnia so I have made an another appt to see him this week to see if I can get the clonadine.
Avatar f tn I broke my tail bone and at first I couldn't poop for 2 weeks-- it most likely was from all of the pain medication I was on (I also broke my pelvis). The first time after my accident I had a BM my tailbone popped. Now when I poop or fart my *** bone cracks, in fact my whole lower spinal column will crack, it's like an orchestra of cracking bones whenever I excrete a blast of gas or pass a large BM.
Avatar n tn m 15 years old and I eat decently healthy and get moderate exercise, like walking around school all day, orchestra, and running sometimes as well as gym class and stretching almost every day. I'm very concerned about this and I weigh around 86 pounds. I am a skinny person so it very clear that my stomach is a little larger. I don't have a clue what it could be and there is no way that it's possible I could be pregnant or anything like that.
Avatar f tn My little sisters orchestra concert is this Thursday nd I was wondering if my 3 week old son will be okay with all the noise. I dnt know how much noise babies can handle. What should I do?
Avatar f tn Have you tried Ambien or Sonata? I take Ambien (have been on it for about 4 years) - some nights it works well and others it's like I've taken a tic tac - but there are nights when nothing short of getting hit over the head with a hammer is going to help me sleep! I used to be on the CR version of the Ambien, until my insurance decided it wasn't going to cover that formula any longer, so now I'm back to the 10mg dose.
1580703 tn?1651904887 I started clonezepam for my sleep apnea, I twitch all the time in my leg/arm before I fall asleep and I seem to have slept well even without bipap once I felt this urge to write something and I started twitching like I had a seizure for a few minutes

Avatar m tn Yah, I took all that junk at 12 and it's now 1300 and I'm about to keel over. Sonata or lunesta both work for me, ambien did too when that's what I could get. But only when mixed with the other stuff. Folks have told me that my 'cocktail' is going to make my liver fail and that that's a very painful death. The death part doesn't bother me, but I don't want my last awareness to be one of pain.
1548131 tn?1293895533 s Jazz Knights for 14 of my 23 years in the Army was performing baritone sax. I was in a great deal of pain during all rehearsals and performances for my last year. The vibrations of the big horn really make me miserable, even though I love playing jazz on the bari sax. I am still playing bari sax as much as I can in the Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra, but playing alot more flute, alto and tenor sax now. At least flute does not bother me much, and I am getting very serious about it.
Avatar f tn I am depressed over this as well as postpartum issues and have just been put on Celexa for anxiety and depression as well as Sonata for sleep by a recommended psychiatrist. The Sonata is too short-acthing though. I called the doc on call but he does not want to prescribe anything stronger until tomorrow, if adding melatonin and/or benadryl does not help. I am currently wearing a holter monitor and have also worn en event monitor recently.
