7595610 tn?1397467772 It's been happening to me since I can remember! Rather irritating at times, but that's why I keep several pairs of sunglasses spaced at different places!
Avatar m tn ve been seeing shapes in my vision similar to what you would see after staring at a bright light. However, I see these all the time, even without staring at a bright light source. I also don't seem to be blinking very often. maybe 1-3 times a minute. I had an eye screening with a ophthalmologist a couple of months ago who said my eyes look fine. Could this be some sort of neurological problem instead?
Avatar m tn If I feel a sneeze coming on, I will either look at the sun or a bright light in a room. I rarely sneeze in a low light situation. My doctor thinks I am nuts, as does my opthamologist. However, my Mom did this (but not my Dad) and both of my daughters do it too. My Mom says that her Mom did it as well. It's very strong reflex and completely uncontrollable. Does anybody else have this or know what it is about? I've always called it "light sneezing.
495284 tn?1333894042 its a combo of things, sneezing is triggered from the central nervous system, from allergies, drug withdrawl, bright light as well, your nervous system is in chaos during withdrawl so its a stimulus reaction, also the running nose irrates the membranes as well.

Avatar f tn s funny the, irony is that bright light really affects you when you have a migraine, who would think that bright light is what causes a chemical reaction in your head to stop the migraine from happening. After doing this for about 1 year, my migraines completely disappeared, I never even got the spots. I am not a health professional, and this cure may seem ludicrous, as we all know that staring at the sun can cause damage to your eyes.
641819 tn?1240325930 In my left eye I've had a floater that stays in the center of my vision and doesn't move around for over a year, but it's not really all that troublesome - I can ignore it now. Over the last few days I've been having random very intensely bright small spots of light that come and go over a matter of seconds in the center of my vision too - right by my floater. Again, not troublesome...just weird and new.
2085202 tn?1373199740 From time to time my eyes are also burning and draining. Sneeze alot. Bright green mucus when sneezing or blowing nose.Does this sound like allergies? Doctor said my eyes looked inflamed and put me on antibiotics said he thought it might be sinus infection but doesn't know for sure. Just took the last dose today. Does it take awhile for any results from antibiotics?
Avatar f tn Has anyone been told from ur dr.
Avatar f tn I notice that I see this when my sinuses are inflamed along with pressure added by sneezing, or if I am taking a hot bath and then stand up, or if I go out into the bright sunshine. I do have sensitive eyes and bright light does bother me. When my sinuses are not inflamed then I do not see this spot no matter what the activity is that I am doing. I have been trying to treat my sinuses with nasal steroids. So far these have not helped.

Avatar f tn I was advised to call or come in if I had a.gush of bright red blood or alot of bright red spotting. Was it a gush? You should call just to b sure .
Avatar n tn It can be controlled by keeping the sneezing in check. Repeated sneezing could be due to vasomotor rhinitis, in which the symptoms occur in response to a trigger, like eating spicy food or going outside in the cold. The primary treatment is simply avoiding the things that trigger your symptoms. It is often treated with a drying nasal spray (like Atrovent) and antihistamines like chlopheneramine and lovatidine are effective. Nasal decongestant drops too relieve congestion.
Avatar m tn Hi all, This will sound extremely bizarre, but I would be grateful if anyone is able to shed some light on this very annoying thing that I am experiencing. It all started when I rubbed my eyes in my mirror 2 years ago, and then my eyes started stinging really badly, and I found I couldn't sneeze for about 2 weeks. For about 2 years now, I have been experiencing an inability to sneeze naturally. The sneeze builds up, but it never completes.
Avatar f tn It hurt to move my eye, I barely could see anything with dim light and normal light was too bright. The ophthalmologist did standard tests and a vision field test (abnormal). Now 2 months later, I have to go back my sx are not as bad but still here.
Avatar f tn Yesterday it started being sore but not to bad and I thought I had something lodge as it felt like it so I looked in mirror and noticed my tonsils are a little red not much and on the one side there a little white mark and only one, not to big you have to really look and go in very bright light to see it.
Avatar n tn I also had an episode today that I went outside and the light was so bright I could hardly see anything but super bright white light. It lasted a couple of minutes until I could get inside again and then the flashing started for about 20-30 seconds. The flashing makes me dizzy and I'm getting dizzy at other times along with headache off and on. Could this be an eye problem and if so, what could it be?
Avatar f tn Today my eyes seem to have a bright light in the center of my vision. Almost like the effect on your eyes after somebody uses flash on the camera. It seems to be only one eye. It is starting to bother me because it is hard to watch tv or talk to people because it covers half their face... Before this occured today, I have recently been to the Opthymologist and he says my vision is 20/20. Dose anybody know what this could be? It has been happening for over 10 hours now.
12250128 tn?1433256723 I seem to be affected by the bright sun light. My eyes water and I can not keep them open. I get light headed and my nose feels funny. It will go away once I am inside and out of the bright light. At work it takes longer to go away (assuming because of the bright lights above my desk). This morning it is making my face kinda numb and my right eye has more pain then usual. Note: yesterday I had a headache that would not go away. When I got up this morning it was gone.
Avatar n tn I am having bright flashes of light at night. If I move my head from side to side the lights pass across my eyes vigorously. This discussion is related to Bright Lights in eyes when waking up at night.
Avatar n tn i'm talking about the type of projector light that is like on the ceiling and different colors of light come out of it , in order to project something on to the screen. the light is really bright, are you sure that it's not dangerous. is the light a type of laser or just regular. thank-you so so so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar n tn It is not straight into my eye, it is to an angle off to the right. When I am in an area with low light I do not see it. I do not have blurred vision it just looks like a little grey spot and I can see through it. It started two days ago it hasn’t gotten worse or better, it seems to be in the three O’clock position. What could it be?
Avatar f tn When we finally arrived at the house, we saw thefirst light we had seen in what seemed llike forever-- the kids had remembered to leave the light on for us. My three older children had fallenaasleep watching TV, and my younger had fallen asleep in our bed. And as I went to move my precious sleeping baby to her bed, being as careful as possible not to wake her, she immediately woke up. She stood to give me a kiss and hug, and as abruptly as she had awoken she fell back to sleep in my arms.
9077628 tn?1411339700 But about an hour ago, I woke up from a nap and noticed some blood on my underwear and (sorry tmi) when I wiped there was bright bright blood. Went to the bathroom twice now and there's still a bit. I'm also EXTREMELY crampy and my bh contractions hurt just a tiny bit, they haventq until now. I'm scheduled to be induced next thursday. Should I be worried? I've never bled after any cervical exam, even with my first baby.
