I think its both positive and negative. It teaches the kids the dangers of smoking/second hand smoke and the problems it can cause as well as the result od death. As for the negative, the kids with the smoking patents are now worrying about losing their parent(s) due to the day care. Im an ex smoker myself.

Hi. I'm just curious in people's opinions of something. I am an ex smoker. No longer have the habit. My child's daycare have been taught that smoking kills people etc.. so move away from people if they're smoking. A lot of parents from the daycare have come in abusing the child care Centre as they're smokers and there young children keep telling them they're going to die.

I am on holiday and my friend is smoking e cigarettes. Yesterday I came back to our room early to find the e cigarette making a strange noice so I put it on the balcony in doing so some fluid leaked on my hand. I have washed and washed my hands but still worried can any one help! 15 weeks pregnant.

This may be a good opportunity to start educating your 2 year old on the dangers of cigarette smoking. Teach him not to ever pick them up, especially when he’s older and others around him may be smoking.

If i tan using a high spf, a tan enhancer such as Institut Esthederm for light skin and do not expose myself durin 12:00 and 16:00, is tanning still dangerous? Because i have heard that just tanning a little is already a negative reaction to the sun .. Also, are "tan enhacer" and "sun preparing" pills any use?

I disagree with the comment that we should accept it and not try to educate people about the dangers of smoking while pregnant. There are a lot of really young moms on here and notall do know all the risks with smoking.

I am wondering...is this anything like quitting smoking? I smoked for 23 years, and could not imagine life without my "best friends", my cigarettes. I mean...what would I do when the phone rang, when I got in the car, after I was done eating, when I went out, sat next to the pool, etc etc. I remember thinking how will I EVER ENJOY life again without my cigarettes. But, my fear of cancer, emphaysima, won.

A week ago I noticed after a shower that i have a skin tag in my pubic area. I haven't been sexually active for about three months so i thought it cant be stds and it doesnt itch or hurt or burner when i ****. I have been going to the gym alot these past three months and when i do i get pretty bad "swamp ***" or just get really sweaty in that area. I did some research of my own and it looks just like a skin tag but kinda darker in color.

Why risk something that has been scientifically proven to affect an unborn fetus? Science was a whole lot different for our parent's generation, scientist know so much more about the dangers of smoking than before. I just couldn't see myself taking chances like that knowing as many negative stories about it.

Hi , I've had long history of chronic pain and a pretty sucessful L4-5 surgery after drop foot due to herniations. I started having pretty sever symptoms again , spasm , twitching , breathing issues (smoker tho) numbness and atrophy and some blurry vision. Thought I had herniated disk again. Finally found hydromyelia in middle of back. Only think that helps is ibprofin and ice and my methadone. They have checked me for MS and ALS. I just had another MRI with contrast.

Hi there, My daughter and her BF had a roomate that smoked that stuff. It's not good. Apparently it is herbs with something that they call synthetic THC. A bunch of chemicals. Here in Utah they are making it illegal because it's considered hazerdous. Google "smoking spice dangers" and there is alot of stuff on it. I think it is telling that there is a push in some states to legalize pot, and yet they are banning that stuff right and left.

seems that 25mg benedryl seem to help me sleep at night and lesson skin itch. i dont want ambien or addictive meds. my liver damage is very low but viral load high. am i making a dangerous decision? of course i will check with doc when we meet in a few weeks but u guys seem to have the scoop.

Not just that but smoke clings to your hair, clothes, skin, hands. .. I can't even count the number of sick infants and toddlers I've cared for in the hospital with bad respiratory infections, asthma or croup with parents who smoke. Even though they go out side the hospital to smoke while their child is admitted they come back smelling awful and their small hospital room is so full of that stench that it's hard for a healthy person to breathe.
