slim fast shakes does it work

Has anyone had any luck on the Slim-Fast diet? I just started it, I need to lose around 30lbs.

Is it ok to drink slim fast while pregnant? I have gained too much weight so far. I started out tiny and now my mid section is huge! I'm not looking to lose weight but eating hurts. My lower back is in excruciating pain and I know it's from the weight gain and due to my belly sticking so far out. I'm only 25 weeks pregnant and I feel the only option is to eat tiny meals to keep up my energy because after I eat my stomach feels so tight b it just hurts.

I keep some Slim Fast shakes (or sometimes a store brand) in the fridge for those times when I don't have time for breakfast or just something quick. They come in several flavors and served ice cold, they are quite tasty.

I am starting the slimfast program tomorrow. My question is does it really work? I am also in a wheel chair..But i do get my legs walking 1 or 2 hours a day .

m counting points but I am also chugging back a weight loss shake everyday as part of those points. There is no way I could ever do the Slim-Fast plan or anything like it. I just like the amount of nutrients in the form of chocolate milk i can get! Makes a great difference if I need a boost before working out or just need something to keep me going while I make dinner. ^_^ Anyways, some of them certainly don't taste very good. My favorite so far comes from Wal-Mart.

any tips on cravings.. im not on slim-fast but it is a shakes and soup diet... also any exercise tips for being quite obese... the thought of doing anything like the biggest loser makes me feel sick.. something gentle but effective... any takers?

Welcome to the community. Try walking at a reasonable pace. Also look into yoga as it's low impact and done at a slow very deliberate pace. Be sure to watch what you eat as well - might also help the e-coli infection.

Now, for someone that is really overweight and in desperate need of a lifestyle change, I have seen it work miracles. I just dont think it is the best option for me. Thank you all for your input...it is much appreciated.

But after a week or two I had no other side effects. The Klonopin does take about 15 minutes to kick in but I take it daily so it is constantly running thru my body. How does the diazepam make you feel and do you take it regularly or as needed Take care!

t confident that zoloft was going to work for, but I stuck it out. It was either take meds or live with anxiety and depression (which I didn't even acknowledge it had until I zoloft started working) and be and agrophobe for the rest of my life. My daughter is 6 years old, on concerta for ADHD and is losing weight. She has been on medications for adhd for over a year now. I'm 24, 5'7", 204 lbs currently. I recently (since March) have lost 20 lbs through diet and exercise but it seems like I'm at a stand still, and in the last week I have actually gained a pound and a half even though my diet and exercise regimen has not changed.

To 75 mgs in 6 wks is a short timeframe for that high of a dose it sounds to me. This med does take some time to actually work w/in your CNS. It took me longer than 6 weeks to just adjust to the side affects. It was prescribed for me for spasms - not shakes or tremor. Did you call the Dr. about this? Please do - OzJohn. Need to get to the bottom of this and Dr. needs to know and see your shakes. Hope you get back w/us.
