Avatar f tn No! I don't see how a dieting drink will help you or the baby....your baby needs nutrients from food and whatever you take in so does your baby. So essentially you will be "dieting" your baby. Just eat small and often...you really don't have too long to go your over halfway.

655875 tn?1295695107 Slim Fast was getting difficult to stay on track. I found myself cheating on the diet. My friend told me about the protien shake that Dr. Oz uses. There are a few recipes on his website. Right now I am using the Ultimate Breakfast Smoothie. It tastes awesome and it actually keeps me full for over 6 hours. I have zero cravings for food and sweets. I've cut back my dinner portion.

So could any one advise please. Thanks! FYI: i used to take Magaram Diet pills for 2 months before the DR change it to A- Slim diet.
Avatar f tn As far the ecoli, this does need to be resolved and may take a long course of antibiotics to resolve a stubborn recurrent infection. You may want to read up on hand washing techniques and be sure you are doing everything possible to avoid them. You doctor can also give you some recommendations on how to avoid the recurrent infections. Hope you get well soon .. take care .. and welcome to the community.

I was just wondering if anyone here has trjed it before. I have read alot about it and it sounds awesome. Everone that I know that has tried it has said they feel so much better...and I want to try it, but I am wondering how it will effect me with all of the meds that I am on.

You can cause a lot of damage to your body if you keep trying to diet all the time when you don't need to. If you really want to, exercise daily and eat healthy small meals 4 or 5 times a day. This is the best way to keep on top of your weight, but do not try to limit your food intake. If you are hungry, eat and then stop when you are full.
637356 tn?1301924822 yeah, my nutritionist told me its best to have a varied diet, not one that only focuses on one particular food group, such as protein. my mother in law went on the atkins a few years ago and she literally never ate carbs, her hair started looking dull and falling out, her skin got real dry, and a whole lot of other stuff going on. and it just didn't sound healthy, like for her snack she would throw strips of bacon in a ziplock back and toss in her purse....

Avatar f tn I kept at it but nothing was happening. You need to eat more then once a day. I start the day with a slim fast. Small lunch and good dinner before 10. You just need to come up with a schedule and keep eating at the same time during the day. I hope that helps a little.

So it essential for YOUR health as well as baby's to maintain healthy habits. Just try to order salads off the menus and other healthy items like you've been doing, and be sure to take your daily prenatal vitamins. Oh, and LOTS of water!!

362249 tn?1441315018 t difficult at all to give up fast food. After abstaining from it for a short period of time, fast food loses appeal in a hurry, and believe me, a healthy diet is food that can taste good, be very satisfying. I wouldn't worry a whit about what other people eat or wants to eat.
Avatar f tn Try to research clean eating and really give it a try! One big mind changer for me was watching a documentary called "Fat, sick and nearly dead". It has a large emphasis on juicing, but I would apply that to fresh, whole foods as well. Changing to this way of eating gave me a renewed energy and motivation to continue changing. I also love blogilates on youtube! As for jogging - try listening to your favorite music - puts me in my own zone where others tend to dissappear!

1198369 tn?1294791928 I know for a fact that when I have lost weight too fast, it comes back with a vengeance. Losing 1-3 lbs a week is a safe goal. But 5 or 6 is ok if you are on a good plan.
