If the eggs in the batter have salmonella bacteria in them, it likely wouldn't matter if you had a tiny nibble or the whole batch, you'd probably get sick either way. The vast majority of eggs bought at supermarkets are safe, but there's still a chance of illness. It's kind of a gamble - but it doesn't really stop me. Cookie dough is awesome. (Though if I've really got a hankering for it, I get some Ben+Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream.

m counting points but I am also chugging back a weight loss shake everyday as part of those points. There is no way I could ever do the Slim-Fast plan or anything like it. I just like the amount of nutrients in the form of chocolate milk i can get! Makes a great difference if I need a boost before working out or just need something to keep me going while I make dinner. ^_^ Anyways, some of them certainly don't taste very good. My favorite so far comes from Wal-Mart.

Very simple. I go to Trader Joe's for his bittersweet chocolate "pound plus bars" (excellent Belgian chocolate). They are 500 grams (about 17 ounces) so the quantities are based on that but its flexible.

Lol. I live in California so I'm sure you can guess which team I'm cheering for. I agree with you on the food though. I made pulled pork, teenie weenies, and cookie dough filled cupcakes with little chocolate footballs to go on top. I'm going to a party so I can't wait for the other food too!! Lol. I already had my baby 5 weeks ago though so I probably should back off on the eating for two.

Has anyone ever actually gotten sick from eating things that pregnant people are "not supposed to" eat. Like brownie batter, cookie dough, lunch meat, sushi, etc? Just curious cuz it seems like an extremely slim chance of someone actually getting sick from it. If so, what did you get sick from and what happened to you/baby? Cookie dough doesn't even sound good. for some reason mint is the only Ice Cream that sounds good for some reason.

I make cookie dough and cake dough all the time without eggs. Its easy just dont add the egg lol love it!

It also helps if you're craving cookies dough to eat cookie dough ice cream, it's safe plus it's difficult to find regular cookie dough that is safe.
