I have had some kind of cold/flu, sinusitis (all in one) for about three weeks. Finally I went to the doctor she prescribes antibiotics, anticough medicine etc. I also developed somehow a muscle spams around my neck aparently due to excesive coughing. The pain became the worst ever to the point of tears. The doctor prescribed skelaxin 800mg, it didn't help, then I added 400mg Advil.. The pain somehow got better, but still there. So Went for Motrin 800mg with Skelaxin, didn't help.
Having some very bad lower back pain today that tylenol isn't touching. I was wondering about Skelaxin. I have some and have taken it in the past...but don't even remember side effects or how I felt taking it or anything. Is this addictive?Anybody know anything about it? Thanks!
t take during the day,as I have small kids and it made me VERY sleepy!) Then I was put on Skelaxin and I feel like that does nothing( 800mg. 3x day) I could take 2 at one time and still...nothing? I think I'm going to ask to go back on Flexeril(for bed time) to reduce my pain and spasms)

My doc just gave me Skelaxin for my back pain and said it might help. I have been trying to cut back taking hydro and I don't want to take anything that is going to make me woosey. I started into therapy last week and it is really making my back hurt. The nurosurgeon I saw said I have from L-1 to S-1 messed up and he does not think surgery would help any. So he just said take the hydro because your not taking that many (only 3 a day 7.

gosh, I took a quarter pill(800mg) of Skelaxin and it was a yummy feeling and that's what scared me. I felt really goooooood. But yeah the other day I could not sleep at all cause I had really really strong muscle spasm/twitch. Not sure what the difference is since all this is new happenings. But yeah I might do a quarter skelaxin once or twice a week here and there to help me sleep, I deserve a break I think. hehe.

Well I am on day two of tapering, yesterday only had 22 mg (3/4 of a tab) I woke up puking and with chills and sweats, took some Airborn Nighttime (loaded with vitamins) and a half of Clanazpam and an Immodium. Today I woke up feeling better, but I know I am not out of the woods, my body is incredibly sore today, I started today off with airborne, 1/2 clonazopam and am going to try and make it til lunch b4 my next tapering dose. This is the last time I **** around with this ****!!
However, I do not see any way to do that without putting the fetus at risk from medication. Currently I am seeing a pain manager who has me on oxycotnin 30mg BID, Skelaxin 800mg, and Flector patches. I want to know how it would be handled if I were pregnant. I'm sure I am not the only woman in the world who has back problems like these and want to have more children. Please share what information you may have about such situations. Thank you.

Celexa 20 mg 1x at night
Bentyl 20 mg 1x
Pepcid 20 mg x2
Phenergan 25mg as needed
Skelaxin 800mg 1/2 x3 as needed (I just filled a different muscle relaxer that is not as strong. With fatigue I am having a hard time finding one that will not put me to sleep.)
Lyrica 50mg x1 (I have not taken that for long. I did a trial and it helped, but very expensive).

I don't think that amount of wine alone would elevate you enzymes but with the drugs you're taking I really don't know.
I believe that Skelaxin may be associated with elevated liver enzymes is some people but again, I am not sure of this. I would Google all of the drugs you're taking with the word "liver" or "hepatic" eg "Skelaxin Liver".
oh and broke down and took a muscle relaxer. skelaxin. this shouldn't be a problem right? found an old script. ibuprofen was not cutting it.
she prescribed Acyclovir 800mg 1 tab BID x 5 days, which I have been taking. My partner for the last 4 yrs just got his results yesterday and was negative for HSV1 and 2. I'm really skeptical about the results and would like your opinion on whether you think I should be retested. Here are the numbers:
HSV I/II IGG-11.3
HSV II IGG TYPE SPECIFIC-<0.91
HSV IGM I/II COMBINATION-1.
The muscle relaxer the dr gave me is Skelaxin. Anybody else ever try this. I read on drug ******* the reviews and some people said it really helped without making them dizzy like most of them do. Man I sure hope it helps so I can keep weening off the hydros.

has him on Diclofenac 75mg 2 per day, Hydralazine 25mg 3 per day, Lovastatin 40mg 1 tab at bed time, Gabapentin 800mg 4 per day, Carvedilol 12.5mg 2 per day, Omeprazole 20mg 1 per day, Furosemide 80mg 1 per day, Ferrous Sulfate 325mg 1 per day, Quinapril 40mg 1 per day, Hydroco/apap tab 10 mg 6 per day, asprin 81 mg 1 per day, Clonazepam 0.5mg 3 per day. He doesnt eat much and he has alot of trouble going to the bathroom the other way.
