How long is a urine specimen shelf life once collected for a cocaine test?

Having some very bad lower back pain today that tylenol isn't touching. I was wondering about Skelaxin. I have some and have taken it in the past...but don't even remember side effects or how I felt taking it or anything. Is this addictive?Anybody know anything about it? Thanks!

I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin. My lower back tightens up and I just need some relief. I have been taking it a bit more often than I did say 6 months ago.

I have found that the synthetics only have a shelf of about 2-3 years, if that. But Armour has a shelf life of 17 years. Are the Raw thyroids sold on the internet a possibility for me also and are their shelf life as long? I take 120 mcg levothyroxine.

Anyone know anything about skelaxin? My doc just sent a script for that To my pharmacy in place of soma....

I don't think that amount of wine alone would elevate you enzymes but with the drugs you're taking I really don't know. I believe that Skelaxin may be associated with elevated liver enzymes is some people but again, I am not sure of this. I would Google all of the drugs you're taking with the word "liver" or "hepatic" eg "Skelaxin Liver".

My doc just gave me Skelaxin for my back pain and said it might help. I have been trying to cut back taking hydro and I don't want to take anything that is going to make me woosey. I started into therapy last week and it is really making my back hurt. The nurosurgeon I saw said I have from L-1 to S-1 messed up and he does not think surgery would help any. Looking at my box of Heartguard for dogs I see it has an expiration date on the box and on each individual tablet.

The muscle relaxer the dr gave me is Skelaxin. Anybody else ever try this. I read on drug ******* the reviews and some people said it really helped without making them dizzy like most of them do. Man I sure hope it helps so I can keep weening off the hydros.

Today, my neuro suggested i try SKELAXIN (muscle relaxer) for the spasams I am experiencing. I will start those tomorrow. It says take 3x a day, every 8 hours. And if need be a 4th one can be taken. I have had some kind of cold/flu, sinusitis (all in one) for about three weeks. Finally I went to the doctor she prescribes antibiotics, anticough medicine etc. I also developed somehow a muscle spams around my neck aparently due to excesive coughing. The pain became the worst ever to the point of tears. The doctor prescribed skelaxin 800mg, it didn't help, then I added 400mg Advil.. The pain somehow got better, but still there. So Went for Motrin 800mg with Skelaxin, didn't help.

As far as I know the syringe itself will not expire, but the rubber stopper on the syringe plunger may have a shelf life. If you have a bunch of syringes that are due to expire, I would recommend speaking with the manufacturer, they may be able to give you some insight on why the syringe has an expiration date. As the result of a back injury in February, I began taking Soma and 10 mgs of hydrocodone at night to help me sleep. I took no pain killers during the day, just Skelaxin. I stopped taking Skelaxin several weeks ago and am now in the process of discontinuing the Hydrocodone. I took the last Soma and 1/2 of a 5 mg tablet several nights ago. This is my second round with trying to get off this med. The problem is the insomnia or sleeplessness that occurs in the middle of the night.

I will try to avoid them right now tho because they make me sluggish and I am already fatigued with my cut in dose of hydrocodne..anything can be abused...skelaxin is a fairly safe muscle relaxer.....

Fiorecet, Imitrex, topomax, effexor, lortab, skelaxin, and others. We have been the migrane route, the cluster route, and the tension route. Felt bump and determined was musculoskeletal. Prescribed anti-inflammatory (Naproxen) and muscle relaxer (Skelaxin). Told me to take as needed (didn’t have to take the full bottle). Took prescriptions for 4 days, Skelaxin caused stomach cramping even when taken as directed. Urine test came back cloudy with high white blood cell count. Concluded was very dehydrated and sent off for tests to determine if infection was present. Also had me go in for blood tests.

t know anything about that drug and I just want you to be safe when you get off of it. You see drugs like Methadone have a long shelf life in your system and take time to ween off. Drugs like my DOC, Vicodin doesn't have a long shelf life and is usually out of the body within 48-72 hours. I just don't know what category the drug your taking falls into. That's why you need more info. Can you get off this drug and have a clean life... ABSOLUTELY!!!

There is an expiration date for a reason! Drugs like everything have a shelf life, the older they are, the more inneffective they become. Get the prescription renewed, refill...
